Dr. Patricia Bogema, DO

I found this doctor to be somewhat controlling. She won't solve more than one problem at a time, and that includes refills. I had a problem with my pharmacy telling me that I had no refills on one of my meds. I kept calling Dr. Bogema and her assistant told me I had to make an appointment. The next available appointment was five weeks away. I left a message saying it wasn't good practice to not refill my rx. Then Dr. Bogema called me yelling and said that she gave me a new prescription for a full year supply in December. (this was the first I knew about the prescription).Then she told me to find another doctor because I was non -compliant. This was the first I heard that she wrote me a prescription for the full year. If her assistant had done her job and checked, this all could have been prevented. As far as being non-compliant, I was a month late and her schedule didn't allow for me to see her sooner.

This doctor has deceptive billing practice, they overcharged you and charged you for no show even though you called in advance and re-schedule. You will be still charged for no show even though they already re-scheduled you and knew you would not show. The office has rudest customer service ever. The office manager hang up on you and they will never let you talk to the doctor directly. Be away from this office.

I was referred by my Dental Hygenist four years ago and love love love her for it! Dr. Bogema can help you get back in the game of life. You just have to be willing to learn and apply the wealth of knowledge you are going to receive!

I've worked in medical offices for 35 years. I'm pretty critical of my field as I've seen it evolve. It's very hard to find a doctor who will truly listen to you and want to get to the root of your medical issues. Dr. Bogema doesn't just prescribe medication to "get rid of your symptoms". She would rather find out what's causing your symptoms and treat the root of the problem....what a concept! If you're looking for someone who is thorough, competent and cares go see Dr. Bogema. She takes most insurance but some of her services are cash, and in my opinion money well spent.
