Dr. Patricia J Bulseco, MD

You do not dictate what you want for your birth control based on a television or magazine advertisement! You go over all the possibilities and side effects. That's what she is there for to impart her experience. I am 75 years old and have used many gynecologists and Dr. Bulseco was the best doctor I ever had. I was ecstatically happy with her tender care. The review below ended with a girl having terrible side effects but she had never consulted with Dr. Bulseco or asked her opinion of the product she wanted so badly. I live in Easton but the next time I am in Pittsburgh on business, I would want to see Dr. Bulseco again! Amanda S. Stevenson

I'm 20 years old, and Dr B delivered me. I trusted her opinion on where to get birth control (after all she was the first person in the world to ever even see me). I told her I was interested in getting the implant, and she promptly told me they'd order it, it'd be there in two weeks, and got up to leave the room. Whenever I asked questions, she essentially ignored them. I needed birth contol immediately, not at my doctor's leisure. I told her I needed a more immediate solution, but she said "it'll be here in two weeks" and left the room. I was in her exam room for all of five minutes, and she made me feel too intimidated to ask my questions. Finally after five minutes in my car, I went back into her practice and asked to see her again and said I had some questions. I was ushered into a hallway after 20 minutes (on top of my almost an hour before my original appointment) where she was very short and uncaring about my concerns. Once again, she told me to wait the two weeks until the… Nexplanon arrived. I waited over a month. I didn't get any calls from her office. When I called them after a month and a half, they told me they had it "in stock" and to come in the next day. When I told them I had to work, they said it was the only time in two weeks they could fit me into the schedule. So, I had to call off work and go to her office, but no one was there. They failed to mention that the appointment was for their McMurray office (which I have never been to), which is half an hour away from St Clair Hospital. When I got there, they told me because I was late for my appointment), I would have to reschedule, despite the fact that it was their fault. Once again, I had to wait. Finally after two months, I got my birth control (from a nurse in a miniskirt...I mean she looked cute but it didn't seem very professional). I'm now experiencing difficult side effects and can't even call her to ask her about it because I know she'd give me the same uncaring attitude.

Explains nothing to patient. Rushes in and out of appointments. Does not give full treatment options. Would never recommend

I've only had one appointment with Dr. Bulseco but I found her to be professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She treated me with respect and made me feel comfortable. I will go back.

Very professional and caring. I was worked into the schedule and that made me feel as if they cared about the person and their complaint.

I would not recommend it to other doctor as she would not refer me to the specialist due to infertility and she insist that I can get pregnant on my own. She did not give me any testing to find out why I can not get pregnant. When I went to the specialist, she fails to fax me her report and charges me $10.00 to fax the report. Ridiculous!

She has been my doctor for 20 years, but no longer. I had a condition that I did not know what was wrong. I went to her, trying to find out what was wrong. I bought my pads and showed her the discharge I was having. It was a brownish discharge. She just said that was normal and to wear a pad, as you do. This was not normal. I also had a itchy rectum and all you gave me was cream to put on it. I have been having this problem for over a year now.I had to find another Genecology's to find what was wrong with me as this condition was not normal. She took one look at me and said it was Lichen Sclerosis. Because Dr Bulseco did not care enough to look into this, part of my labia minora has fused together and disappeared. I have permanent scaring. I have found out a lot of women and men go thru this.How can you say you are a Dr. and not care about the problems your patients are having. I will never go back to you again. My records have been transferred to the new doctor.
