Dr.Fennelly never asked me why I was coming to her! I was referred by my primary therapist for e.m.d.r. therapy, I knew that. A written referral had been sent to Dr Fennelly, however she evidently forgot. I was a survivor of extreme sexual and psychological abuse from childhood on. I was too scared of Dr Fennelly's cold and no nonsense manner to question her treatment methods, though I knew they were at best ineffective and at worst very harmful to me. I write this in an effort to caution other traumatized souls to be wary of this therapist.

Money is pat fennelly's main interest in my 2 year experience. She later stated that she was under the impression that she was treating me for back pain, when I had been referred to her only for E.M.D.R. Therapy to help my extreme anxiety. I never stated to her or anyone else that I was suffering specifically from back pain. When after 2 completely wasted years and $7500.00 I told her repeatedly that I wanted to stop therapy with her, she each time I stated this, made statements that she could see improvements in me and insisted that I schedule yet another appointment with her.

Pat is a wonderful person. She is very caring and dedicated to helping her patients. She has gone beyond normal efforts to help me. She is qualified in many, many approaches and modalities. She has tailored my treatment to meet me where I am in that session. She is readily available and responsive to me at all times, even while on vacation to assure my safety. She is fabulous in helping me with my PTSD and trauma. She prides herelf in this work and for good reason. The only negative I see is the forms you fill out that drive home the need for financial responsibility. I understand that she is in solo practice and needs to keep afloat but that paperwork was over the top. If that is my only critique, then she is wonderful. If you chose Pat, you will not regret it and you will make as much progress along your journey that is possible . You would be in great hands from a kind, caring, compassionate, nonjudgmental professional.

I saw Pat Fennelly for almost 2years. I always felt that her primary motivation was money. I was referred to her by my primary therapist for E.M.D.R. But pat didn't follow my therapists request. Pat used modalities that didn't work for me. Despite my telling her repeatedly that I didn't benefit from these techniques, she continued to use them. When I finally found the courage to say that I wanted to stop seeing her, she kept insisting that I needed to continue to see her. I told her multiple times that I didn't want to come any more but she insisted that I continue. Finally I had to leave a message on her machine. Beware of this therapist.
