I’ve seen several Doctors concerning stone issues She is by far the best She explains everything and is the best Dr I’ve had ever.

I have been going to Dr. Fone for several years and have had very good service. No complaints.

Extremely competent , friendly , knowable, gentle, procedure went as predicted , recovery quicker than expected , pain management very good. Overall maybe the best surgeon I've ever had. At 65 I've had a few.

VERY personable, excellent communication skills, feel like I can trust her.

I first saw Dr. Fone in 2007. I was diagnosed with a testicular cyst a number of years earlier and the pain was getting to me. Two previous Urologists diagnosed the cyst and both wanted to perform an orchiectomy. Being very apprehensive about this, I postponed the surgery for a couple of years until we moved to Northern California. The pain was so bad it was making me nauseous, something had to be done. I made an appointment with Dr. Fone for a pre-operation consultation; it was time to remove a testes! She stood there reading the radiology reports from previous ultrasounds and the recommendations from the two urologists I had been to.....then with an almost disgusted look on her face she turned to me and said; â??You have low back pain, donâ??t youâ??. I replied; â??Well ya, Iâ??ve had low back pain most of my lifeâ?? at which point she said; â??The pain in you testes doesnâ??t have anything to do with the cyst, manage your back pain and the testicular pain will go away!â?? For… the last seven years, I have been pain free. Wow, I almost lost my testes. Now whenever a "Medical Professional" wants to cut me or go beyond pushing and poking, Iâ??ll keep getting â??Second opinionsâ?? until they make sense. There are reasons why she is busy. She's a good Doctor!

Better not to start treatment with this doctor in the first place. It's hard to get appointment.Staff is not cordial.Doctor doesn't spend appropriate time with patients and diagnosis take longer than expected. Overall, my experiece with this doctor is not so good, I can say its frustrating.

I first saw Dr. Fone in 1999. I was very impressed. When my PSA score recently started going through the roof, my family physician asked me to see a Urologist. Based on my previous experience with Dr. Fone, I wanted to go back to see her. She's so popular that it took months to get in to see her. Nevertheless, it was worth the wait. She determined that I had Prostate Cancer, and was incredibly empathetic about my situation and gave unbiased advice as to my options. Now, months later, I am in much, much better condition and the cancer is gone or in serious remission. Dr. Fone was superb in her bedside mannor and a superstar in her technical medical skills. While I hope that I don't need to spend much time with Urologists in my future, I must say that if I did, I would always, always go back to Dr. Fone.She is terrific..
