Dr. Patricia Seongju Hong, MD

I was born in Seoul, Korea. I'm blessed with a very loving, close-knit family. I'm lucky to have doting parents, supportive siblings, and fun and caring aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. I grew up in New Jersey and New York and had terrific opportunities to meet and learn from people of diverse economic, cultural, and religious backgrounds. My favorite activities in New York City during my high school years were seeing foreign movies at Lincoln Plaza, attending classical concerts at Avery Fisher Hall, seeing discounted Broadway shows, and eating Chinese-style crabs on Mott Street in Chinatown. I attended two engineering colleges and graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with degrees in biology and literature. I chose to become a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist to focus on my patients' quality of life.
