Rude! Not kind or caring. She made my wife feel completely less than during her entire pregnancy. Made terrible comments and left my wife physically scared. Stay away!

I do not recommend Dr. Jay, she is rude, condescending, doesn't explain anything unless you ask the right questions, doesn't seem to know enough about women's health care in my opinion.

Other than her interest in functional medicine, I cannot stress how unethical, judgemental, and unprofessional Dr. Jay was. I found it extremely unprofessional that I was not notified by her/her office before I saw her that she does not prescribe birth control other than condoms or diaphrams. Though the other doctor in the office does, and she offered for me to see her for the insertion of an IUD, I was still very put off and feel this information is important to divulge to patients BEFORE they are seen. In addition, after receiving a positive STI result for the first time in my life, Dr. Jay's comment over the phone was "No surprises there". I have never felt so demeaned and judged by a practitioner before. This was my first and last appointment with her. Please be warned. (I so rarely ever post reviews like these but I really don't want someone else to have to go through this. I tend to have a thick skin with doctor's and she really put me off)

After being tested in her office (blood tests), this doctor never contacted me with results, even though there was an infection to report. After my routine exam (after waiting 35 minutes), she claimed she had no time to explain my condition because the data entry on her computer was too time consuming. She proceeded to send a prescription to my pharmacy (which they never received), and told me to make another appointment.

Patricia Jay is the worst. Please avoid her at all times. She has no soul and is a heartless lady with no sense of humanity. God save her children.

I don't know who would give Dr. Jay only two out of four stars! She is a great doctor, very intelligent and caring. Highly recommended!
