The doctor spends time with the patient, she is always courteous and caring and listens; she makes appropriate recommendations for treatment and care . The staff is attentive and professional and we have always been pleased with the degree of care and concern expressed. In an urgent situation, the staff always tries to fit us in same day.

I was looking for a primary and had been turned away by many doctors for a recent car accident that left my ankle broken. This was not an issue for her at all. They made me feel welcomed and took the time to get to know me as a new patient and then took even more time to go over my injuries related to accident. I feel very lucky to have found such an amazing person/doctor. Looking forward to having the proper care set up :)

I have been a patient for nearly five years and have only met the Doctor twice at physicals that were scheduled months in advance. Any time I am there for medical care I see the Nurse Practitioner who is very nice. The office staff is also incredibly nice. At my last physical, two things made me want to shop around: 1) she advertises for Botox in her medical room (as a non-dermatologist I seriously question why she would be "prescribing" or administering botox); 2) she brought up politics and the candidate she was voting for in the Gubernatorial election (highly inappropriate). She also chastised me about my BMI (which is in the normal range) because I still haven't lost my last 5 pounds of baby weight). I explained that I had begun a half marathon training program and likely had gained weight because of increased muscle mass. I decided to hold off on finding a new provider as I do not often require care beyond the mandatory physicals for work. Then last Friday presented the… straw that broke the camel's back. I have a wisdom tooth that became infected (or rather the gums surrounding it were infected). I developed a fever and could not get in touch with my dentist to prescribe antibiotics due to the holiday weekend. I called Dr. Lampugnale's office and she called me back and told me there was nothing she could do as the issue involved my tooth and wasn't a medical issue. I argued that it was certainly a medical issue as I had developed an infection. She absolutely refused to see me stating that she was worried about her liability had she saw me and "misdiagnosed an abscess." I explained that I was not asking her to treat the abscess rather to treat the infection which could become life threatening. She actually said, "what if I gave you the wrong antibiotics?" Hate to break it to her but antibiotics are broad spectrum these days. So I told her I would be leaving her practice as she did not provide the appropriate standard of care. I was finally able to reach my dentist and she was appalled! She had never heard of a physician refusing to treat an infection.

Not exaggerating. One of the worst experiences going there. Been 3/4 times, saw her once when everything blew up and my blood results came back. The only reason she saw me was to scold me because I went to another doctor to get my blood drawn. She was appalled. Did more complaining to me that I went to someone else rather than look over my blood results. She knew nothing about me or my condition and insisted that we had met before. Nope, I was seeing her APRN every appointment since my very first visit. Won't be going back. Very disappointed.

This doctor is dropping all of her longstanding patients and starting an "MDVIP Program". This means that only the first 600 patients willing to spend an annual fee of $1,800 will be allowed to receive her services. This fee is not covered by insurance. If you're not willing to pay up, she is not willing to see you. Sounds to me like she is more concerned with money than the well being of her patients who now can not afford her services and must seek heathcare elsewhere. I can not recommend a doctor that would treat her patients like this.

My first impression of her was okay. Then I started to notice that she had no interest in my questions or opinion. I used to ask the staff, "what kind of mood is she in today?" I would actually get nervous seeing her, worrying about her mood. She can be condescending and curt. I was ready to leave the practice but came down with a respiratory infection and agreed to see her P.A. After meeting her, I decided to stay. I will only see her or the APRN as both of them really listen to what I have to say, value my opinion and never seemed rushed. I just got a confusing letter about the doctor joining MDVIP and it does not mention between the lines that it does not include her other providers and it costs $1800 a year! The other providers already give me the care that she wants us to pay extra for. And when you call MDVIP to find out if they are part of it, they don't even exist. Beware. Ask questions. I plan to stay with the two people who honestly care.

You're not allowed to voice your own opinion with this doctor. Optional vaccines are optional. However, when I refused one she told me it would be my fault if I acquired the disease; in exactly those words. Not the most open minded person. On several occasions she has gotten basic medical facts wrong such as the vaccine schedule and prescribing the wrong medication. I know two of her former patients that promptly left after she seriously misdiagnosed them. She has far too many patients to care about individuals. I can't count how many times I've had to call the office to get test results and I remember one time vividly in which I scheduled a same day appointment when I was seriously ill. She actually had a tone of irritation that I was in the office because she claimed I didn't seem that sick. Really unbelievable attitude for a doctor that is supposed to be empathetic and nonjudgmental at all times.

This doctor has been the best doctor yet for me in my 50 years of living life. She may seem to come off as arrogant or stand offish at first, but people should not pass judgement on others without getting to know them. What I am extremely disappointed with her is she is joining an elite group of Doctors that require that you join their membership in order to have access to them. This all because of our alustrious grovernment not addressing the real problems with health care. Medicare Fraud, Lawyers and Insurance Companies. Keep in mind, that once you enter into a hospital, your primary care physician not longer is over seeing your care. What they call Hospitalists while you there oversees your care. So even the Hospitals are singling out and controling your care. Not even your primary care physician has input or a say.It is extremely sad that I will not be able to have her as my doctor much longer.

Dr. Patricia treats my whole family like people not patients. Her understanding of not just symptoms but family goals and lifestyles leads to more meaningful plans of action for everyone. The support staff is relentless in a good way. They keep after you to make followup appointments, change habits, etc.
