I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in Jan 2020. Dr. McAdams saw me the very next morning and we laid out a plan. She told me what she would recommend if I was her brother. She took the time to explain to me and answered all the questions I had during this scary time in my life. Her patient care and empathy was greatly appreciated. The military is losing a great person / surgeon. I’m very blessed to have had her as my surgeon. Thanks vey much merry Dr McAdams, I owe my life to you! There will be a void in the Army for sure when you depart.

Dr McAdams performed thyroid removal surgery for my mother in early 2020. She was fantastic and ensured my mother was comfortable before and after the procedure. Her clinic at WBAMC has always followed up to make sure the surgery eliminated the cancerous cells and more important that her QoL is better with the meds she had to take from now on after the thyroid removal. Highly recommend her for medical care!
