One of her most notable accomplishments was being selected to serve as the co-medical director for the Olympic Stadium during the 1996 Olympic Games held in Atlanta. She has served as the chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital as well as a member of the Piedmont Healthcare Board. She has been a member of several national and local medical boards and has a vast amount of experience as an instructor.
