Dr. Patricia K Merlo, DO

My wife became her patient from a referral everything was fine until we needed a return call unfortunately this is not what this Dr Merlo does. Over the course of six months we left her three requests for return calls and she did not return one of them. The first time when she came into the exam room she apologized profusely said she had a lot going on in her life. The second time was to contact the hospital for us to get them to give my wife fluids to flush her system out since her urine looked like root beer. The third time was while in rehab a Dr there diagnosed her for the trembling she had been having for six months and told us what medication would best work for her and to call Dr Merlo to see if she concurred and if with the medications my wife was on if that could be prescribed.. My daughter called and left her a message which she she never returned when my daughter finally got ahold of her on the phone and said she left a message Merlo replied with a tsk. My wife is… deceased now so I will no longer have to wait for return calls that never come. I would not recommend Dr Merlo to anyone. If anything a staff person could have called each time to see what we needed to at least try to answer us.

I've been going to Doctor Merlot for over two years, she charges more than all the other specialist i go to. My last visit she read me my blood results from the cancer center witch I had already gone over them with my oncologist. She never touched me in anyway but told me to come back in six months. I was in Sherman hospital for 9 days and she never came to see me... She is my primary doctor. She charged me $348.00 for one office call...

For me she has only done routine testing for my conditions. Never felt like it was overdone. Usually very prompt. I have a friend that waits usually 1-1/2 hours for her dr.

We've been going to Dr. Merlo for many years and believe she is one of the best.

I have no respect for people who think that they are more important than everyone else.

Dr. Merlo is a very knowledgable doctor and intelligent person. I trust her with my health issues. She at all times has treated me with respect and compassion. She takes her time her at each visit and never seems to be too busy to listen to me or to explain what is going on in my health situation.The Dr.'s nurses, seemingly taking their cue from her, are professional, friendly and caring.I am a most fortunate person to have Dr, Patricia Merlo as my Doctor.

Dr. Merlo is designated at D.O. but does not practice ANY osteopathic medicine which is why I chose her to begin with. I just paid over $800. out of pocket for a medical test that I would have never taken had I realized the cost and what information the test would give us (ONLY whether it was bad enough for surgery) which I could have answered myself. She did not inform me of these expenses or even what the test was and why I needed it. I have absolutely NO TRUST in this doctors ability to practice medicine!!!!

Excellent caring for patients. Also great at answering questions in a layman's termanology.

Dr. Merlo has always treated me with respect and kindness. Her staff is very gracious. I have been with her for about ten years now and have no plans on leaving.
