Very compassionate and equally professional surgeon; helped me through the worst time of my life when I was diagnosed with beast cancer

I feel very fortunate that my primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Morrison regarding the possibility of breast cancer. She is a very caring and excellent surgeon who spends whatever time and effort necessary to care for her patients and make the right diagnosis. She has excellent communication skills and explains things in a very understandable way. I felt like I was talking with a dear and trusted friend from the moment I walked into her office for my first visit. I never felt she was rushing me out of her office, took her time in going over the x-rays from the mammograms and explaining what we were looking at. She made numerous follow-up phone calls, and the one I will always remember is when she called me one night to let me know my results were back and my breast problem was benign. She said she didn't want me to have to wait until the next day to hear the good news. She didn't have to go that extra step but as a caring physician she knew I was anxious to hear the results. … I can't say enough good things about Dr. Morrison. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. I have been going to Dr. Morrison for almost 3 years, and my opinion of her has never changed during that time.

For some reason i fell a little worried when she say i will need a mastectomy in both breast. It look like they're a team working together to make the most money possible from people uninformed and in paying. On someone that only need a scar tissues to be removed.... I went there because a Gynecologist told me that i need to check by her and right the way she ask for some labs and like always they send you to the same lab the same people it's feel like a pyramid that no one can stop and we patiente is paying the price. So the labs came in and she say you will need a double mastectomy and i say wow yes she just do like that no emotion at all. She is very cold and in her eyes you can see the money sign. And she right the way she say don't worried i have a good plastic surgeon for you that will take care your reconstruction.! Right after i finished the mastectomy. It feels like they have everything there ready for you so you can't say no because she make look like that will be so… easy. And then i ask for how much will cost my insurance and my self so the total was 245.000$ yes this much and i was gonna pay 20% of that and plus side bills. Is like they not only mess up your body but they make sure that they will leave a big financial, psychologically hole in you life. Went to another country and found out there was nothing bad no need for mastectomy it was only scar tissue that was growing from my previous shoulder surgery. So if you can't go to another country go to another Dr in another city far away from this piramide that love to gamble with you life. Go for second opinion you have the right and be careful because if they lay you in the hospital bed they will make sure to make you feel like you're dying so you sign the papers. Stay away from them.

Met Dr. Patricia Morrison during one of the most painful nights of my life, my intestines had twisted during my stay for another surgery, she came in to my room talked to my family and I and reassured us I would be okay. I was so sacred at the thought of another surgery since I had just had 3 the previous week. I was hyperventilating and and afraid I would not make it thru another surgery but she and her team of experts calmed me and my family down and fixed me right up. She saved my life, had we waited any longer I would not be here. We will always be thankful to her and her staff for their kindness and care during a very difficult time,

Most memorable, Dr. Morrison "Go home you need a band aid and asprin,,you will be fine in 3 days. Its over 4 years, All she has to say is your one of the unfortunate ones. I was unfortunate that I had a surgeon that thought it was a race and the clock was ticking. The surgery should have taken approx. 2.5 hours Patricia managed to hack through my body in 26 minutes flat! Leaving me permanently damaged. Maybe at one time she was a good surgeon, now she takes her job for granted and forgets that a human being with a life and family are relying on her.

Dr. Morrison has been my surgeon since 1996 when she performed a lumpectomy on me. She continues to see me for my 1 year cancer checkups and has been wonderful throughout. I am now a 17 year cancer survivor. I recently was in the hospital for stomach problems and when a surgeon was required, I requested her. After reviewing all my test results from other doctors she correctly diagnosed the problem and performed intestinal surgery. I healed faster than expected and have been great doing ever since. I will be going for a second surgery in one month to remove my colostomy bag and get reconnected. She always takes her time with patients and answers any questions you may have. Her bed side manner is what all doctors should emulate.

Dr. Morrison did a colon resection on me and everything went very well. She is brilliant, professional and very caring. I would, and do, recommend her to anyone who needs a great surgeon.

I was so impressed with Dr. Morrison and her staff. I had had a bad experience with another breast doctor/surgeon and came to Dr. Morrison for a second opinion. The first doctor was ready to do surgery and Dr. Morrison wanted all available facts first. Once she had what she needed (including a biopsy), she told me what everyone wants to hear...it's benign. She was very kind and spent time making sure my questions were answered. If I ever know of anyone in need of her services, you can bet I'll refer them to her!

I think Patricia Morrison is a very good Dr! She removed my galbladder and couldnt have asked for a better Dr or hospital! I was very pleased with her!

Do the math, average of 25 surgeries a day.How long will she spend working on you.Do not fall for the "your in the 2% group tht just dont heal well. Ask for your records and read them thoroughly. IIF YOU HAVE SURGERY AND THE OUTCOME IS NOT SATISFACTORY ASK QUESTIONS.Even better ask before you agree to surgery and take someone knowledgable in that field with you. Do not be a victim of the 2% it is life changing.
