Dr. Patricia Ann Oconnor, MD

Dr. Pat has been my physician for decades. I need not look further because she is brilliant and compassionate, the perfect combo! She only staffs the competent and the kind, so the whole experience of having to go to the doctor isn't unpleasant. Dr. Pat actively listens, retains so many details about one's particulars, problem solves like no other, makes the best referrals, and expeditiously gets authorizations. No matter how serious or complicated the health concern may be, Dr. Pat has never made me feel rushed. She goes into overtime until her patients' individual needs are taken care of. She checks up on and in with her patients. No matter how dire the situation, she is a calming force. In addition to her smarts, she heals with humor and kindness. What a blessing it would be if all doctors had her work ethic, compassion and intellect.

I was concern my mother was getting dementia, I asked for a referral to a neurologist for her to be evaluated. Dr. Oconnor didn't know how to go about doing this. She asked me if I knew of one. I work in health care so I asked around. We got the diagnosis and the eval was sent to her. Because of my mothers erratic behaviors I filed for FMLA from my job. Dr. Oconnor charged me $15 for her to fill 2 pages. Stated it was "legal fee". One day my mother was having really bad delusions, I called early monday morning and left a message stating her delusions and asked for a call back. By noon I still haven't received a call, I left another message. The receptionist called me back 5 mins before the office was to close, I asked to speak with any doctor from the practice and she said they don't have "after hours" I was in shock and furious. How insensitive and unprofessional the people in this office was. I found a more attentive MD. If your love one has Alzheimer's or any other… serious condition, I highly suggest you get someone more professional. General Practice is an understatement

Dr. Patricia O'Connor listens. She takes the time to understand the patient's perspective and incorporates that knowledge into account in making her treatment recommendations. Not a pill pusher.

I feel that I get the better care from this Doctor than any other I have seen for general medical needs
