Dr. Patricia Lynn Raimer, MD

Patricia L. Raimer, M.D., is currently an Associate Staff Physician with in Cleveland Clinic Childrens Hospital Department of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Raimer completed undergraduate degree in biology at John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, and earned her medical degree from the Medical University of Ohio at Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. Her post-graduate training includes a pediatric internship, residency and pediatric critical care medicine fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical School and C.S. Mott Childrens Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich. She is certified in pediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiac life support. Dr. Raimer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, and is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Medical Association.

her clinical work, Dr. Raimer has taught a number of courses in pediatric critical care and communicable diseases, among others. She also is an established basic researcher. …Her research interests include facilitating early therapy for severe sepsis/septic shock; improving resident and nursing education through human/patient simulation; and extracorporeal support technologies and therapies. Her specialty interests include sepsis, ECLS (extracorporeal life support), and CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy).
