Doctor Patricia Stege, a Penfield native, is a 1976 graduate of the University of Rochester. She attended Georgetown Dental School, followed by graduate training at the Eastman Dental Center in general dentistry and special training in geriatric dentistry. She participated in a one year residency program and a second year residency at The Genesee Hospital. She continued on in a post-graduate fellowship in Geriatric Dentistry and did research and teaching at Eastman. She has serveral publications in clinical and basic research.
Doctor Stege has been practicing dentistry in Fairport since 1983. She has been a Girl Scout troop leader, and she is an avid ice skater and ballroom dancer. Doctor Stege devotes one day a week working with the developmentally disabled clients at the Monroe Developmental Center, and maintains a volunteer staff position at General Hospital. She regularly attends seminars to stay current with advances and new techniques in dentistry.
