Dr. Patricia Lee Underwood

I am the biggest critic regarding medical doctors. My husband wanted to see his doctor, but Dr. Shaw was not available. We hit the jackpot and were referred to Nurse practitioner, Patricia Underwood. After asking my husband several questions, she really didn't know from his answers what was actually the problem. She said it could be stones, diverticulitis or just a muscle pain. I loved that she was so real about it. She proceeded to get a immediate CT scan and gave him medication for the pain. She was caring and very professional. She didn't assume that she knew everything, she was just taking guesses and asking us what we think of what she is suggesting which was anti inflammatory medication for the pain, and CT scan to see if there is anything seriously wrong. I truly respected and admired her for her kindness and her professionalism. As well as for being just human and very real.
