Dr. Patrick Stephen Carney, MD

13 years ago I was referred to Dr. Carney for severe psoriasis I had suffered with most of my life. He helped me more than any other dermatologist ever did. He is a kind, skilled, empathetic doctor. My skin looks better at age 60 than it did when I was 20 years old. Dr. Carney stays current with all the new drugs and therapies on the market. When a treatment stops working, we try something else. We never give up. On my 60th birthday I treated myself to several cosmetic procedures to treat brown spots, red spots, tiny bumps, and lines on my face. I turned out so well my husband made an appointment and had the same treatments done to his face so we could both look good. I highly recommend Dr. Carney and Pinnacle Dermatology.

Dr. Carney is very thorough and explained everything so you completely understand how and why he’s doing what he is doing. And he’s very thorough with telling you how to take care of yourself after you are done. Our whole family has enjoyed Dr. Carney and his staff for years we’ve never had a bad experience there. I would highly recommend using Dr. Carney and staff for any of your needs.

I was seen for my appointment with Dr. Patrick S Carney office and set up an appointment. My first appointment with Dr. Patrick was amazing. His overall energy and personality made me feel 100 percent comfortable right away. The reassurance I received by him, letting me know that no matter what, he was going to do whatever he can to make this go away, put me at ease. Something as simple as that. Stress, GONE. Giving me multiple options and further plans (even if I didn't need them) made me feel SO GOOD. He was confident, he was upbeat, he gave me many options, and plans on what we were going to do if the first plan didn't work. That is ALL I needed to hear from my doctor. I trusted him. And right then and there, I was so thankful to have found such an awesome doctor, who was going to help me on my journey to a more confident and happy life with psoriasis. My concerns were addressed and treated efficiently. All my questions were answered without me feeling that I was taking up… too much time. I will continue my patient relationship with Dr. Patrick S Carney as needed. He has been amazingly helpful in getting me exactly the results I wanted from treatments and correct diagnoses. He is incredibly kind and professional under all circumstances.

I have been going to Dr Carney for about 3 years now and would recommend him to anyone. He listens to what you say and finds the best option for you situation. He will even let you know what other services you would benefit from based on the conversation your are having with him and the current procedure you are in for. The staff is great and friendly. I have been to other places in the past and felt like a I was interrupting by making an appointment. Here I feel like they care (and they do). You have real connections with the staff and Dr Carney.

I don’t kno where to start I came to Dr.Carney I was freaked out I didn’t kno wat was wrong with my skin he took his time with me and told me he will take care of me until he figured wat was wrong with my skin and that’s wat he did all African people if reading this and your having problems with your skin his the one he will take his time off just to make sure you are gettin the right treatment I appreciate everything you did for me God Bless You????

I have been taken care of at Skin Speaks in Blaine and Edina, both places are fantastic. Walking in did not feel like I was walking into a clinic, it was beautiful and felt like I was walking into a high end spa. I felt like I was going in to be pampered instead of having a skin check and mole removed. The staff were friendly and accomodating. I was so pleased with how caring, compassionate, friendly, and personable Dr.Carney was. It’s not everyday when a physician can engage with you and make you feel like you are not another number during the day to get through, but like a life long friend. I highly recommend going for all or dermatology needs!

He is very detail oriented, has the best diagnosis techniques and cares about his patients. I never had to take the second opinion after seeing Dr. Patrick. He took care of my acne problem with a plan and has been three years I never had to deal with bouts of acne again
