For reference And comparison, I’ve lived all over the country and had 7-8 different endos, and the lack of communication and treatment guidance here has been worse than any other provider. I Had abnormal lab results. Sent a message to the Dr after 3 days of the results being on the patient portal and not receive any communication from Dr Clyde office. I received a phone call from the MA stating “I may need a follow up or referral”, with no clear path, but that she would Speak with Dr Clyde and return my phone call later that day. 3 days later, I hadn’t heard anything so I sent another message on the patient portal. I received a phone call later that day, again from the MA, who said the exact same thing she said on Friday. Here I am 10 days post results and I have yet to get any clarification on the next steps, speak with the doctor, and there have been x2 missed communication opportunities. I originally saw this physician for osteoporosis, And 6 months and two appointments later, I… have yet to receive any recommendation on potential causes or treatment options.

dr clyde doesn't care about his patients....changed my RX and added a pen...didn't do any blood tests after the change and set next appointment for 3 months....the pen he prescribed hasn't been filled for over a month, walgreens has sent him 3 notices and still no reply....the things he prescribed can affect your kidneys. but no blood tests....the other thing is you can't call his office direct, you have to go through evergreen's switch board and be grilled as to what you want.....very poor experience.....needless to say I cancelled any further appointments.

I've had a very good experience with Dr. Clyde. I had been taking medication for a thyroid disorder for 14 years and still had serious symptoms when I first saw Dr. Clyde. I am now off medication and am symptom free with normal test results. He took a careful medical and family history, answered my questions and is now finding ways to effectively treat some secondary disorders. He has helped me with dietary and lifestyle changes that have improved my condition. I now see him every six months, but his office has readily helped me if I needed attention between scheduled appointments. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Clyde was absolutely incompetent the couple times I saw him. His recommendations were incredibly poor at best and dangerous at worst. He didn't take my history, including my blood sugar and diet log that were very thorough and brought to my appointments, into account at all. He couldn't recommend a nutritionist or a diabetic educator, yet when I asked certain questions he said I should ask an educator or ask a nutritionist! He actually had the gall to tell me that I was "smart" so I wouldn't let my newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes get out of hand. It was a very disheartening experience, and am so thankful that I already knew enough about type 1 to know that his advice was garbage and that I needed to look elsewhere. I would drive out of state before I saw him again.

I was and probably so were a lot of Umquaians, excited that we are going to have an Endocrinologist in town finally. I have type 1 diabetes and Thyroid disorder both for more than 10 years. But my experience with Doctor Clyde is very disappointing! He is very arrogant and impatient. Probably he has a reason to be arrogant considering he went to Yale. But the reason I am switching doctor is that he does not put my health concerns into considerations! I have hypoglycemic unawareness, meaning i can't feel when my blood sugar drops to dagerous lows. So I have to use a device called Continuous Glucose Monitoring System, CGM for short. I had been using the CGM sensor from Medtronic since 2008, but I had always been having a lot of problems with it. After researching myself on the web I found out that, Medtronic sensor has a considerably higher error reading than its competition, Dexcom sensor. There is a Medtronic sales Representative by the name of Christina going to Evergreen quit often.… So Doctor Clyde resists prescribing me a New Dexcom CGM sensor. Every time I request a prescription for Dexcom sensor, Doctor Clyde would set an appointment for me with Christina, so that she can sell me a new insulin pump and a new sensor she claims is about the same quality as Dexcom's. As a patient, I struggle to justify Doctor Clyde's judgement and his actions of not prescribe a device which is proven to be better for his patients! This made me doubt his professional ethics. I had also been incorrectly prescribed and wrongly diagnosed by him during my visits with him. You can't judge a person by his appearance! No matter how flashy his degrees or experiences are! What is right in the heart is what counts. That is the reason why I will not see him any more!
