Dr. Patrick John Contino, MD

I truly adore Dr. Contino. After reading a lot of reviews, I couldn't agree more on the comment about the staff. I did my externship there. They staff was quite rude and "catty". They were all out to dig a hole in your eye. I would have loved nothing more than to stay an there.... But I couldn't handle the mean girls in there! After my externship was over Dr. Contino gave me a wonderful spa gift card. I feel he knew I was a sincere person bit the staff would do anything to throw you under the bus! God bless your hard work and dedication Dr. Contino, you go above and beyond to care for your patients.

Dr. Contino has been my doctor for years and I have never had a more understanding doctor. I have total confidence, he listens to me and takes the time to deal with any issues I am having. The office staff is terrible, very rude when you call and have a hard time getting messages to the doctor or return phone calls. I think if Dr. Contino own staff outside of Lakewood Ranch he would get 5 stars!

Money Money Money. Need I say more

Dr. Contino has been my Primary Care Physician for 6 years. He is a wonderful, caring human being and an excellent diagnostician. Unfortunately, Medicine has become a business and he is forced to manage his time on a schedule. He participates in a Conscierge program (fee for care) that he hopes will become the core of his practice eventually so he can spend more time on patient care than forced to be concious on numbers of patients. He is truly an exceptional physician who sees patients after hours and on Saturdays and is very accessable.Hopefully, he will do more to run his staff than allow his staff to indiscriminately run him.

Dr Contino really takes personal time as needed with his patients. He always follows up-returns calls, helps when ee are out of state. He has a wonderful helpful attitude and tries to make all situations easier for the patient. Very caring and good bedside manor. Helps with long and difficult forms on his off time if necessary. Just a great guy, we think a great deal of him.

Dr. Contino is a nice young doctor who needs to work on his bedside manners. Book less so that he can improve his time and listening skill. MOREOVER he needs to find new staff! I would put up with the wait if his staff were not uncaring, rude and impolite! They do not return calls, they put you on hold and disconnect, they ask as if you interrupted their very important day. I sat in waiting room and their conversations were more important than the person on hold waiting for a response.

Dr. Contino listens to his patients and cares about their needs find out what is making them sick. He found my Meneires disease. I am always grateful that he listens and runs tests if needed.
