Dr. Patrick Joseph Halpin, MD

I had hip surgery by Dr. Halpin at Capital Medical Center. First Dr. Halpin & his staff are great to work with. My surgery procedure was laid out by Dr. Halpin & his PA and it was very thorough. Then went to the Joint Boot Camp at Capital Medical Center along with my wife for training on what to expect. We both knew exactly what was going to be done. Successful surgery. A bit of trouble healing although with one more injection it did the trick. Today I am a new person, can walk without the waddle and all is good. Highly recommend Dr. Halpin and if every again have to have other hip done he is the doc.

Excellent experience. Dr. Halpin and his staff were excellent in every way. Had my hip and knee done. So far very satisfied.

Great Doc!!!! My daughter had to see him for a knee repair. Im now seeing him for shoulder problems. Hes very accurate and diagnosing problems and repairing them also.

Very busy doctor. Usually have to wait anywhere from 30-60 minutes after appointment time and he rushes thru the visit in less than 10 minutes. Every time I've seen him I feel like I have to rush thru a history of what's going on just to get on the same page. Nice guy but very frustrating trying to keep any consistency with this doctor

My overall experience regarding Dr. Halpin is that he is an excellent, professional, and very knowledgable doctor. I had 3 seperate orthopedic issues and each issue was addressed and diagnosed perfectly. Example; Issue #1.a small bone spur on my foot and pain: solved with wearing supportive shoes the spur was actually unrelated and not the cause of pain at all. Issue #2. My 13yr old had a 5 yr undiagnosed pain in the ankle. Dr. Halpin noticed a little "kink" like movement in the ankle and found slight bone chip imbedded in the tendon. These examples of Dr. Halpin's knowledge led to my trust in his ability to surgically repair my severely damaged ankle from many years of sprains and fractures. Dr. Halpin's reputation is stellar with the PT community and with the Macy's employee with whom I compaired surgery stories with while shopping, she agreed her husband's own surgery was a success and was equally impressed with Dr. Halpin as was I.
