Dr. Hossack received his Bachelor of Science Degree in chemistry from Harvard University. He attended Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree. Subsequently, Dr. Hossack completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Montefiore. After residency, he completed an orthopaedic surgery sports medicine fellowship at Montefiore. Dr. Hossack is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He joined the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Montefiore in 2006.

Dr. Patrick Hourani is a miracle in action. As a dialysis patient since 1999 with a history of stents and serious heart issues, I was in critical danger with four arteries over 75% blocked on October 1, 2025—and he saved my life. His skill, compassion, and understanding are unmatched; he listens, never judges, and truly cares. Mercy Hospital’s emergency department lacks professionalism and proper hospitality, and I personally experienced a HIPAA violation there. Even so, Dr. Hourani shines above all—he is the reason I am alive today, and I trust him completely with my health.

As a physician myself and a patient of Dr Hourani, I have seen other cardiologists and chose Dr. Hourani to treat me. He is very understanding and caring and has extensive knowledge of cardiology. His staff are cooperative. His office environment is very comfortable and not rushed. I recommend him highly for general as well as specialized cardiac treatment.

Dr Hourani is very nice and explains everything to you in detail, not in a hurry to finish with his patient. He is the best Dr over all.

Dr. Patrick Hourani has amazing bed side manners. He is very patience and kind. His office is very clean and they offer snacks and coffee while you wait for the physician. The front desk is very friendly and the medical assistants are also very kind. I would highly recommend DRM Hourani and staff
