Dr. Patrick George Mccallion, MD

I WAS SO PLEASED WITH THE SURGERY THAT DR. PATRICK MCCALLION RECENTLY PERFORMED. MY SITUATION HAD BEEN GOING ON FOR DECADES AND I WAS UNAWARE BECAUSE NO ONE HAD DISCLOSED THE SITUATION TO ME. SO WHEN I SWITCHED TO MY NEW HMO, I WAS REFERRED BY MY ENDOCRINOLOGY DOCTOR TO HAVE SURGERY, I WAS REFERRED TO DR. MCCALLION WHO TOOK CARE OF DOING THE SURGERY THAT WAS ACTUALLY NECESSARY IN ORDER TO REMAIN HEALTHY. DR. MCCALLION DID ABOVE AND BEYOND OF WHAT HE NEEDED TO DO. THE SURGERY WAS SCHEDULED MID MORNING AND I WAS RELEASED THE SAME DAY IN THE AFTERNOON. DR. MCCALLION SURPRISED ME WHEN HE CALLED ME THAT NIGHT TO CHECK ON ME. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND DR MCCALLION MORE TO ANYONE IN NEED OF A ENT SPECIALIST. I FEEL SO LUCKY AND BLESSED TO HAVE BEEN REFERRED TO DR. MCCALLION BY MY ENDOCRINOLOGIST. I FEEL THAT MY OVERALL HEALTH SITUATION HAS IMPROVED A GOOD 100% AND ALL THE CREDIT IS TO BE GIVEN TO THESE TWO AMAZING DOCTORS THAT ASSESSED MY SITUATION AND MADE THE BEST RECOMMENDATION TOWARDS MY HEALTH… IMPROVEMENT. I AM FOREVER THANKFUL TO DR. MCCALLION.

I contacted Dr. McCallion because I have had chronic sinus problems for years. He checked my CT scan and performed an in office examination. He gave me all my options which included surgery. I had already decided to go with surgery before meeting him but he did not push that. Once I decided to go with surgery he told me he thought that was my best option. He explained that he thought that while he was repairing the septum he would also reduce the size of the turbinates and enlarge the sinus opening, explaining the latter would require more follow up checks to ensure they are healing correctly. The surgery went as described and what he described in the first days of post op was accurate. It has only been 9 days since my surgery but I am already feeling so much better. Dr. McCallion, in my first post-op checkup, said that I would continue to see improvement since I was still recovering. But, he told me everything looks really good so far. I wish I had done this years ago and I am very… happy with my choice of doctors. I would recommend this doctor to anyone as well as the surgery.

A monkey could have done the job better.Upon my screening the lady asked me if I had ever had any surgery... I told her that I had my thyroid removed. The Nurse never asked me why did you have your Thyroid removed 5 months ago...(If she had I would have told her I had cancer.) Then she proceeded to question me about everything except for the pertinent questions. Dr. McCallion came in. He reminded me of a monkey. When he opened his mouth and began to speak, I suddenly felt like I was transported into a B-rated movie that was something like Little Shop of Horrors... I should have ran!! After Enduring this pointless exam for a min.. I decided to volunteer my recent cancer history. (You would think that writing it down in the Patient Medical History during the registration process would have been enough.)He than had his immediate diagnosis... "My Symptoms were caused by the Radioactive Iodine that was given to me post Surgery." I opted out of the normal protocol and chose not to have the… RAI done. I told him about all of my research about my type of cancer (Papillary Carcinoma) and how it is unaffected by that procedure and how my regular MD agreed. He was suddenly became an expert in oncology, and proceeded to lecture me. Why did I not leave the office I do not know... I just Smiled and decided that the Nodules in my throat cheek and tongue could be examined by someone else... I made sure the exam finished quickly after by agreeing with is next stupid diagnosis. Never again will I return to that office. If you value your life I suggest that you stay away.
