Wasted my time and money. Didn't listen. Terrible experience. Got no help whatsoever

Terrible. Does not listen. Waste of time and money. I would give him 0 stars if I could.

Dr. Nolan is the most condescending, rude, and arrogant doctor I have ever met. This man does not deserve to practice medicine. He will make you feel as if you are being interrogated and like it is your fault that you are seeing him. During my visit with him I was extremely close to walking out mid-appointment and wanted to cry after I left. I have never felt more violated while seeing a medical professional. He made comments about me and my current medical care that were ignorant and uncalled for. He is extremely abrasive and his bedside manner is that of sandpaper. Both he and his nurse asked me things that I had already put in the paperwork I filled out. They both asked the same questions and didn’t seem to read my chart or any paperwork that I brought in. Do yourself a favor and find another neurologist.

Two years following my initial visit with Dr. Nolan, today, May 11, 2020, I found the expansive skills of Dr. Nolan ongoing, diagnostic and competent with his assessment of what could be done realistically for my previous pinched neck nerve. I scheduled a visit hopeful that it could have helpful consequences for my right arm rotator cuff. ADC is fortunate to retain Dr. Nolan these fifteen years. His analysis of the possible for me was enhanced by his sensitivity to my need for physical therapy, evaluation anticipated by blood work, and clues to how to avoid paid to both arms and shifting to Aleve. I found a help with his "TLC" administered in a very professional way. Philip Stovall

Dr. Nolan always fully concentrates on me and my issues. He asks relevant questions and brings to light possible causes for specific issues and discusses options for how they could be addressed. I trust him completely and feel in the best hands.

He is very busy and VERY good. Quickly diagnosed my problem. Corrected my medication and got me well again. Longest I ever had to wait for a callback was the next day. Most were returned the same day. When I had an ER visit, he was directly reachable by phone. No callback service. Best neuro that I have seen in a very long time. He does have P.A.s do mundane items like blood pressure and explaining meds. If there is a question that they can't answer, they have no problem calling him back in to get the right answer.

Talked like he was in a rush to be done with me, made me feel small and insignificant. Made comments that made me feel like I was not being taken seriously. Failed to help me understand my own illness or get to the root of the problem. Quickly prescribed me medicine, which is working but made me feel like he didn’t care to provide further information to help me. Would not see again.

We have seen Dr Nolan for ~9 yrs now (~once or maybe twice a year). Migraines, other neurological issues. He figured out an upper back, one sided issue I was having ~6 yrs ago, that no one else could help with. ~every other month I would start to get an ache in my mid/upper back on the left side. It would start dull, & always come on Every day in the early afternoon & would get so bad that it would have me laying down (only relief I could get!) by mid afternoon when of course it was time for the kids to come home from school, make dinner, do homework, athletics after school, etc. It wrapped around to my left chest area in that dermatome, & even brought pain & numbness & tingling to that whole area. I was seen by a Physiatrist (orthopedic Dr that is not a surgeon), a Chiropractor, a myofascial specialist, even had special tests done (high level ultrasound & biopsy in my left breast because it was acting like a possible tumor). He had an MRI done & found I had an uncommon herniation… in my thoracic spine. He treated me with high dosage of Aleve for 4 days & it never came back! I had this for ~ 1 1/2 yrs every other month & it would last for ~3-4 wks (gradual onset over a day or so & gradual decrease). It rendered me useless during those 3 wks every afternoon/evening! Ugh! Thanks to Dr Nolan for listening & doing everything to get to the bottom of it & for my & my daughter's migraines & other issues too. He also offered to allow my oldest daughter in college to follow him & get experience for Pre-Med. Great guy. Very knowledgeable, Great listener. Nerdy, but in a good way! ;)

Do not recommend, especially if you are female. Talks to your chest and did not help with my problem.
