Dr. Patrick Pierre, MD

We struggled to find a family dr till today me and my wife visited dr Patrick Pierre for the first time, what a pleasant dr very professional friendly patient we are so glad we went to see him , I recommend for anyone looking for a family dr to give him a visit you will be very pleased.

He wrote two prescriptions wrong according to two specialists. He spends little time with you but he will refer to a specialist.

Went to see Dr. Pierre for a pregnancy test and some lower abdominal pain that I was experiencing. I brought along my boyfriend (and possible father) to the appointment. Dr. Pierre needed to do a vaginal exam and he appeared very annoyed that I didn't mind that my boyfriend was in the room with me. He told me that it was "odd" that I had brought my boyfriend back with me. He then proceeded to talk about his personal life, telling me how many times he had been present at a vaginal exam with his wife over the years (which I think was zero). His comments and actions left me feeling as though his office isn't open to family centered care. I feel like I have the right to bring anyone I want for support. Is this the 1950's when men weren't involved in a women's pregnancy?

Could be a good doctor, seems preoccupied with the local basketball team as he is the team doctor. Doesn't really follow up with patients, and does not listen when they are trying to tell you what is wrong. Seems to think he knows you better than yourself.

The office staff at Mercy Windham needs to take some classes on customer service, some of them are very and rude, especially the way I have seen them talk to some of the senior citizen's that go there. Someone needs to teach them some manners. Dr. Pierre is a good doctor for the area. Should spend a little more time following up on patients problems though.
