Dr. Patrick A Roth, MD

My general practitioner recommended him as I had spinal stenosis. Not only did he NOT help me after surgery in Feb. 2021 I am far worse with constant pain on my right side & no use for entire left arm. I can not sleep or even dress my self for the terrible pain. The office is terrible who do not answer phones or call back. DR Roth fully admitted he made major mistakes on my surgery & now it seems he refuses to even see or speak yo me. Glad he obeys his oath he has taken. I am now forced to see someone else even while in severe pain & difficulty walking due to his mis actions. I am also looking for possible legal remedy for mal practice. Please think twice & twice again as In my entire life I have never experienced such a terrible uncaring, liar

I would say he is the best neurosurgeon in the entire tri-state area. I had an ACDF surgery in Nov 2016 and he fixed an issue I was having for 25 years in my neck. My neck has been pain free and my range of motion is batter than it has been in over 25 years. I just had a open spinal fusion and laminectomy & discectomy done by Dr Roth in the past two weeks. I have been walking since the day of my surgery with little to no pain. I do not need a walker and my neurologic issue I was having down my legs seem to be gone. I am extremely happy with my outcome! I highly recommend Dr Roth for your neurologic needs. He is the best!!

Bullied me. Him and is assistant nurse. They made fun of me. How unprofessional. The care is subpar as above. He was ok with the surgery. His assistant seems to think that you are not important. I will never go back. I also had a facet injection and met the doctor 5 minutes before I had this injection It did not work. Roth had no solution I think him and his nurse did not want me to return. I will go to another doctor who does not bullie me. They actually got me so upset.

Had 2 surgeries with Dr.Roth. After the first one for a lumbar fusion I was still in pain after. Had to go through multiple epidural shots and a nerve ablation and still no relief. He decided to operate again and I am now worse than I was before. He rushed the post op appointments and made it seem like it was all in my head. I decided to go to another Dr who ordered some tests and found the problem. I unfortunately need another surgery to fix the problem which should have been fixed in the first place. The waiting room time is horrendous and you are then rushed through the appt. Do not waste your time with this Dr.

Dr Roth, was extremely professional, took his time with me at my office visit, explained to me clearly, what possible options to correct my back and nerve issues. He took the time to talk with and explain what went on during the procedure with my two adult children. i went home the next day. We all can't thank him enough!

He is one of the best doctor that I've ever met. Very passionate and he will be doing the surgery on my lumbar soon

I recently say Dr. roth and I felt like the staff was rushing me through appointment. The girls at the front desk were clueless and I waited an extremly ling time to see the doctor.

Dr. Roth did a microdiskectomy after trying 6 months of conservative treatment for very painful sciatica. The procedure was not routine due to an unusual anatomical condition. In spite of that, it went flawlessly, immediately relieving the horrible leg pain. Six months later I was about 90% recovered and reherniated the disk sitting on a couch for too long. In spite of being in even worse pain, first hospitalized and then bedridden for a month, Dr. Roth felt I would recover without further surgery. He ordered a different type of epidural injection than I'd previously had that seemed to help more. We met three times in that month and each time I was improving and each time he patiently advised that he thought I'd recover. He was right. I'm now walking 4.5 miles a day, essentially pain free, though with some residual partial foot numbness. If you need surgery, Dr. Roth has the skill to do the job. He won't hurry to operate and he isn't afraid to change therapeutic strategy if data… suggest it.

I had previously seen Dr. Roth and had a very good experience with him. My son was going to be in the NJ area this weekend and wanted to schedule a consultation for an injury as a result of an accident. We intended on paying cash for the consult but the office refused to allow an appointment for an injury in GA regardless if we were paying for the consult in cash. disconnected and rude attitudes. so sorry after my experience the first time was so positive
