Dr. Paul Scott Aaronson, MD

Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Aaronson. After seen 7 urologist, wasting time, money and getting no relief, my GP sent me to him. With change in diet and inexpensive bladder installations he was able to relieve my pain and discomfort. Even though there is no cure for what I have, at least I have some peace in my life, within a year I am 75 % better than when I first saw him. I'm grateful to him and his staff, they kept my dignity during ever procedure. Very difficult to find doctors like Dr. Aaronson anymore.

Make no mistake in mostly all areas this is a qualified doctor for prostate care (that is where the money is for Urologists) and the staff is caring. If you have a condition like kidney stones, you know the main symptom is a pain like no other. It will be taken care of but Dr. Aaronson is one of those doctors who either cannot understand how painful it is or that resists or reduces the use of opiates even when needed. Keep in mind few pains can compare to kidney stone pain. If that is your condition, move on because you may be told to take Ibuprofen or given a low opiate dose that is ineffective. All else, this is a quality doctor except in managing intensely painful conditions well.

After some of the so-called best doctors of New York left me with a bleeding prostate, the need for blood and another operation, I was brought by ambulance to New York Hospital Queens where Dr. Aaronson, working with a cardiologist, saved my life.

Dr. Aaronson and his staff were nice enough to fit me in for an appointment on the same day I called (a Friday) when I was sick and was not even yet a patient of his. When I thanked him, he told me that he could not got through his weekend knowing that he had turned someone away who needed treatment. I was very impressed by this and his office and will be going back.
