Dr. Paul Michael Bailey, MD

Smart DR.

Unfortunately, I only had Dr. Bailey for two days while I was inpatient at BIDMC. I wish he had been on the team of physicians handling/overseeing my case; Dr. Bailey took the time to listen to me and with amazing bedside manner. I felt that he was the only physician I had spoken with who could set aside biases and take my word as it is. If not for Dr. Bailey, I wouldn't have been prescribed an effective medication for the neuropathic pain I was experiencing as the physicians that were being filled in for while I was under his care treated me as if I were drug seeking and would only give me tylenol (which had no effect on the pain) even though I had explicitly stated that I did not want narcotics or other highly addictive drugs. I don't know what I would've done if not for Dr. Bailey. Even with the short amount of time I was under his care, I could tell that he is a great physician who should be looked up to as a role model for maintaining the art of doctoring.
