Dr. Paul Enrique Canda Bernabe, MD

He was my Dr. Back in 1999. I was pregnant and had been seeing him. It was my first pregnancy. I was 24 weeks along and had went in to see him due to lower abdominal pain and pressure. He told me it was my uterus growing. He did no testing. Later that evening the pain got worse. I noticed it was in a patern and must had been contractions.They were 3 minutes apart. I took myself to the hospital at midnight. Even the staff acted as if it was nothing. But as they took me back to a bed I hemeraged. Bleed so much. My baby and I was in trouble. I was life flighted to Springfield MO from Eldorado Springs, Mo. My baby boy was born and remained in the ICU for 5 weeks. My first born passed away at 5 weeks. Later on I had went to see Dr. Bernaby for depression. He was so uncaring. I remember my last visit with him. The clinic was having a celebration for him and his wife welcoming their newborn into the world. What a heartache to have to witness his happiness when I was torn because of him. I… was to young to know I could've done something. I should've sued him. He had additional patients with pregnancy issues as well.

Dr. Bernabe did not listen to my mental health concerns about my increased anxiety and possible PTSD after working at Calo. He did eventually raise one of my medication, which caused me to have a bad drug interaction ,which came to a head, 6 weeks later, during which I couldn't think, form sentences or write well, I also had some physical issues with coordinate and motor skills. I was really out of it. I finally went to the ER and was told I was having an adverse drug reaction. The hospital changed the dosages of two of my medications, and told me to stop another medication. I would give Dr. Bernabe zero stars if I was able.

This dr. Is hard to talk to an doesn't listen when u speak to him . Very rude an inpatient !

He is very good and takes in different factors concerning your diagnosis.

I was very pleased with my visit. For the first time, i really thought that the doctor cares about a patient and not about money.
