Dr. Paul Eugene Brown, MD

10 star ! He's great I'm so thankful! I found him over 30 years ago he has excellent bedside manners polite listen ! Didn't get a big head lol god like Dr BC he is all that lol I will miss him when he retires! I want to be selfish! I can't he definitely deserves fun having seven days week! Thank you Dr. Brown!

From the time I was taken back to prep for the procedure it was a good experience.Karen,Paula and JoAnn were great there were others that I fail to remember,but all was great,and relaxed me so much.As usual Dr Brown was the same,just wonderful.I hope I won't see them again but if I do it will not be a problem.

The best Dr ! I’ve seen him for years

Dr. Brown saw my husband and ordered a CT scan, which was denied by insurance because of the lack of information Dr. Brown presented to insurance. I had to call Dr. Brown's office many times to get them to take an interest in my husband who was suffering. My husband eventually ended up in the ER where a CT scan was done immediately that revealed a mass in his colon and he was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to his liver. Before we ended up in the ER, I called the insurance company and learned what Dr. Brown submitted to them and it was very weak and did not warrant a CT scan. He basically said my husband had chronic diarrhea and that's it. He did not tell them everything that was going on with my husband. He had horrible pain in his belly and if you put any pressure on it he jumped off the table (the tumor) and he also had many other symptoms that I won't list here that Dr. Brown did not include on his request for a CT scan. Insurance gets a bad rap,… but they make decisions based on the information they receive from the doctor. Dr. Brown did not take the time to send a thorough request including all of my husband's symptoms. Insurance assured me that if Dr. Brown called and had a "peer to peer" with the insurance's doctor that he could explain better the need for my husband's CT scan. I called Dr. Brown's office multiple times and asked them to have him call insurance to have a "peer to peer" conversation to justify the need for my husband's CT scan and HE DID NOT DO IT. This was not insurance's fault, but rather Dr. Brown not presenting all of my husband's symptoms to them. My husband had EVERY symptom of colon cancer, but Dr. Brown was negligent in informing insurance of the symptoms. He was lazy and careless regarding my husband's care. I attended the appointment with my husband so I know what was said and we told him everything that was going on that is classic for the kind of tumor he has. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Dr. Paul Brown. The staff made me feel like I was annoying and bothersome when I was calling to advocate for my husband's care and I was right, my husband had a serious condition. My husband suffered as time passed and with cancer growing while Dr. Brown did nothing to help. The facility feels old, dirty, and outdated. Please, if you care about your loved one, do not choose Dr. Paul E. Brown with Louisville Gastroenterology Associates.

It is hard to get in to see Dr Brown but he always takes his time and listens well to everything you say. I think he is a good doctor very kind and patient. He works with you.
