Dr. Paul Robert Callegari, MD

Dr Callegari was very professional, but also very friendly and compassionate and took his time answering all of my questions. I never felt rushed. My panniculectomy and abdominal lepectomy went as scheduled and the results were exceptional. I am three months out and have had no problems at all. Everything is healed, and I feel and look great. My body feels so much different, in the best way. Amy, his nurse is also very kind and friendly. She went out of her way to schedule my surgery when I needed it scheduled. She always had a smile on her face. I highly recommend Dr. Callegari.

The doctor performed a paniculectomy on me. The pre-surgery meetings Dr Callegari had all the right answers. But! During the surgery he and the hospital staff ALL IGNORED A METAL ALLERGY and put staples ine that have nickel. The binder that I was put in after surgery was so large that it went from above my chest to my thighs. They actually have the nerve to ask me while I was in the hospital bed why it was up so high. The night after my surgery and while still in the hospital I began running 102°+ fever. They gave me enough Tylenol of various forms to get the fever down sent me home that morning. Upon which arriving at home my fever promptly returned but when I called you find out what to do the doctor was rude and unsympathetic. When he marked my skin before the surgery he assured me that the scar would be hardly noticeable. The scar on one side of my hip is easily an inch or two higher and not nearly as smooth as the other side. In the front of my stomach is this huge horrible Pucker… like he tried to give me some deformed belly button. At the post office appointment rude and uncaring and actually told me he had no clue why the left side of my stomach was hurting to the point I was screaming and in tears. Later that evening I ended up at the ER. Run away from this doctor as fast as you can

I will admit I was devastated when my prior surgeon felt that he could no longer help me. I remember texting my mom saying that I felt defeated and now I had a new doctor that I had to meet and get to know. I felt as if there was no way I would have the report I had with my first surgeon and was really apprehensive about meeting the new doctor. Dr. Callegari. Walked into my room and immediately took a seat. He made me feel at ease immediately and talked to me in a way that I could have only prayed for. He assured me that he was more than happy to take over my care not only then but on going seeing as though I have a condition that requires frequent surgeries. He took me to the OR the very next day, and did something that no other surgeon has ever done. Knowing that I was alone in pre-op, he sat down next to me after making his mark on my skin, and when they were ready to take me back, he walked next to the gurney the whole way there. Following the surgery, he made sure I had adequate… pain relief and made it very clear that he was not going anywhere. As I said, this was something I could have only hoped for and I feel truly blessed that he is now my doctor.

Caring and takes his time with you. Communicates and listens effectively. Educates you on procedure. Performed my breast reduction and I am extremely satisfied with the results.

Dr Callegeri is a very unethical doctor. He does not listen to you as,the patient and does not write the truth in his notes. He is not helpful with his diagnosis and lies to his patients. Find another doctor!!!

He did a superb job on me, had several surgeries done to get where I want to be, his front office staff is excellent and I love being greeted each time by name, that is not something I have ever had in other offices
