Dr. Rola Eid

Family physician referred my father to dermatologist—spots on face looked worrisome—but it was 5 week wait, which seemed too long delay if treetment needed, and I had to drive him 1 hr each way, so 2hr round trip. Called and got appointment w/ Dr Rola Eed in same week and everything taken care of during same-day as appointment, including taking small sample of spots on face, and saw another specialist (unscheduled) within same visit to CTCA. Called us next day with results. Thanking God for cautious family Dr who recommended specialist and thankful for CTCA and Dr Rola Eed. Only two round-trips to Tulsa CTCA within only two weeks time from first phone call, and Dr Rola removed two confirmed skin cancers, as well as talked w/cancer specialist Dr, and my father now confirmed to be cancer-free. And his face looking better than before all this started.

Dr. Eid took the time to answer all my questions and I am very pleased with my surgery.

She was the third doctor I visited to talk about some of the things I've been considering...I don't know, "addressing" or "refining" about the way I look AND the way I feel--the way I feel about my body is really what's motivating me to consider cosmetic surgery. My first impression--before I ever met Dr Rola--was "How does anyone get an appointment with her?!" I had to really make an effort to make that happen, and that's why I gave 4 out of 5 stars. Beyond that, every impression about her was just...genuine. From the way she looked at me (without that sort of doctorly condescension or sense of superiority), to the way she listened and talked, seemed very (I don't want to keep saying "genuine") sincere and invested in understanding exactly what I was seeking from cosmetic surgery. She gets it! She talked to me as much about a person's inner monologue and how 'the way we feel about ourselves can affect the way we function...across a wide continuum of social roles, including… acquaintance, co-worker, friend, wife (and lover), and so on and so forth.' Things I knew somewhat instinctively or subconsciously but hadn't put into words until I heard Dr Rola speak so openly about why most people seek these sorts of changes through surgery. Since that conversation, the more I think about it and the more I pay attention, the more I'm realizing the truth in that. The way I feel about myself, and the way I sort of talk to myself (not out loud) do have some affect on almost every aspect of my social life. Even the clothes I'm comfortable or confident in wearing. Even the way I stand or posture, and the way I walk through the store or wherever. You know what I mean?! Have I scheduled surgery? No, not yet. I am more confident than ever that I'm on the right path, and that I will someday schedule a surgery, and I know exactly who I want to be my doctor. I just need to be more consistent with my weight so that when I do get lipo-sculpting (and the other things i want done) that it will be closest to the size and weight that I want to be at for the long-term...forever, ideally!

Love the sun...a little too much, probably. During past several years, had two "suspect spots" removed by different dermatologists and not happy with the scars they created. I should've learned after first experience and partly blame myself. Didn't occur to me to visit plastic surgeon until talking to brother-in-law (who happens to be a dermatologist) during family vacation at beach destination. Fast forward many months, and I can barely see where Dr Eid removed two spots from my face (cheek and chin)...one was actually a small mole that i just wanted gone. Neither turned out to be cancerous (cheer!!) and best of all...NO obnoxious/conspicuous scarring. The whole experience at plastic surgeon's office was night-and-day compared to dermatologists' offices. If even one person reads this review and realizes something I wish I had known years ago--small "suspect spots" and moles can be removed with almost invisible scarring--then this review was worth both of our time.

Dr. Eid did a fantastic job in giving me very informative answers to all of my questions. She spent more time with me than I expected and continuously checked up on me after my surgery was done. I am extremely pleased with my results. This has truly been life changing. I very highly recommend Dr. Eid!

Travel to/from TX few times year for past 3 years to visit family and always schedule appointment w/Dr Eid. Truly listens and understands what I want even better than I can explain. Thousand thanks!

She was exceedingly thorough. Listened to every question. Answered in detailed explanation. Did not blow me off. Allowed me to take as much time as I needed. Made effort to build report. Her nurse was very kind. She was professional, but friendly. I passed her in the hall before the appointment, she greeted me, made no effort to pretend she did not see me. Witching 10 minutes of the 45 minute appointment, I knew she was the one I wanted to take care of my issue.

Very proffessional and knowledgeable doctor. She spent a great deal of time explaining my reconstructive options. I felt very informed. My surgery went very well. So HAPPY with Dr. Eid and her team.

Took awhile to get appointment. Very busy doctor, and I can see why. 5-star experience. But took over 3 weeks to get consultation so gave 3-stars for Ease of Appoinment. Very impressed with doctor, though, and highly recommend.

I couldn't have been more impressed with her. Believe I received the best advice, which was different than what another PS recommended and what I originally thought I wanted. Beyond happy with the way everything turned out...it's like better than what I even imagined because of how natural. I can't describe what this one decision has done for my life.
