Dr. Paul Albert Cook, MD

Physician had x-rays done, looked at my hand, palpated, said he had no idea what was causing the problem. Shrugged. Nothing else done. What a waste of my time and money.

Dr. Cook took excellent care of my broken arm. He is very knowledgeable, caring and professional. Dr. Cook took the time to explain the condition and all of the treatment options putting me at ease with the problem. I highly recommend Dr. Cook to my family and friends.

Dr. Cook is 1st class, takes exceptional care of his patients. His staff treated me like I was family. I've had 3 different surgeries by Dr. Cook and each one was great, highly recommend!

It sounds cliche but I've never written a review on a doctor. I felt compelled to do so because of how put off I was during my two visits. He came highly recommended by my primary care physician however after two visits I decided to find a new doctor. Each visit I waited over an hour in the exam room only to be greeted by a rude, condescending, rushed Doctor. He entered the room finishing notes on the previous patient on his voice recorder. He did not take the time to listen to my concerns and when asked a question he never let me finish. I felt as he didn't have time for me. During my second visit I reminded him of what we talked about the last time and he said, "I never said that. Those words never came out of my mouth." I was highly offended by this...why would I put words into his mouth? He never took the time to explain my pain or what the plan was. He was in and out in minutes. I did not take his attitude and unprofessional demeanor personal though because I observed him act very… similar to staff. I since found a new doctor who makes me feel validated and understood. I am so glad I did not continue seeing him for my wrist issues.

Make you feel right at home, best medical experience i have had

Dr.Cook is as good as it gets. Living in an area where specialist are not common my husband was referred to this doctor by a relative. Yes he does seem arrogant and not caring....but that's not true. This doctor not only helped my husband over a period of two years and multiple surgeries hes also took care of our children's hand and arm injuries. It is definately worth the trip to see him. He is compassionate and does care. Hes one of the best doctors in his specialized area and truly one of a kind.

Some people think Paul Cook is a good surgeon but Iâ??ll not know that first hand. I do know that heâ??s the most unprofessional and arrogant doctor Iâ??ve been to. From being almost an hour late for my appointment (and not being aware or caring that he was late) to telling me that maybe I should find another doctor after expressing my opinion about his lateness to agreeing to do the surgery then having his staff not schedule the surgery and have his staff not return my calls. Some patients accept doctors not respecting their time, I donâ??t.

Very talented surgeon. I had severe had trauma and Dr. Cook was able to save the digits and restore almost full use.

I have been around a few summers and this doctor is about as good as it gets.My wife and I have had several surgery's and all have went well.The new center that they just opened near Polaris is nice and new and will only get better. Thanks doctor Cook and all of your staff. I might add that the therapy department is excellent also.

Always made time for conversation and small talk! I have had lots of experience with orthopods having had 4 knee surgeries and Dr. Cook is the best!
