Dr. Paul David Dash, MD

One of the best doctors either my husband or I have ever met. He takes his time and does an outstanding job assessing patients and getting a thorough history. Excellent office staff. Dr. Dash is a very compassionate, knowledgeable & kind physician.

I drove my mom to her appointment with Dr. Dash and he spent a considerable amount of time with her asking all different kinds of questions and performing medical tests for memory. She has had a problem with her face and headaches, hurting so bad she can't chew or touch her face. He seemed very thoughtful and caring about her condition. I've read the comments here and I cannot believe they are even talking about the same doctor. He was simply amazing and I was highly impressed. I felt that it just doesn't get any better than this.

Dr. Dash is dismissive, rude, and does not provide quality care to his patients. His "neurological exam" is non-existent and he rushes through visits because he'd rather be anywhere else. Googled my symptoms in front of me during my first visit. My second visit was the last after referring to me as a frustrated patient with whom he spent too much time with. This is a doctor who cares about getting his paycheck over his patients and doesn't have the decency to hide it while with patients. Unprofessional doesn't begin to describe him.

Dr. Dash is a Johns Hopkins neurologist who rushes to diagnostic conclusions in mere minutes, doesn’t listen to patients, documents incomplete notes, and often leaves patients waiting 45 minutes or more just for an audience with his eminence. But rest assured that Dash recognizes that he is amazing. So much so, that he even named a simple little neurological test, “The Dash Test”. Isn’t that marvelous! I guess the name fits though, as he is just as simple and little as the test he authored. Incredibly, Dash works a side hustle too, testifying against patients in desperate need of benefits as often as possible. He is so busy with them; it can take months to get on his schedule. Dash is the kind of doctor who has an agenda, and uses his medical license to champion that agenda. Dash is a tireless advocate for the insurance industry. But all of this is just one patient’s opinion of course. Why not roll the dice, and see if he works for (or against) you? Best of luck, you’ll need… it.

I have chronic intractable migraine, which is an incredibly difficult condition to treat. Many doctors have given up on my condition and referred me out to other specialists. Dr. Dash has been nothing but compassionate regarding my severe pain and disabling symptoms. He shows empathy for my health. Often, Dr. Dash has been the advocate for my health, encouraging me to try new treatments and medications when I had wearied of the battle against my illness. His diligence and patient bedside manner continues to give me hope that I will find, perhaps not a cure, but a treatment plan that works for me. I recommend Dr. Dash wholeheartedly.

After years of Misdiagnosed, MRIs Denied at previous Doctos, Dr. Dash has been the only doctor thoroughly tested me with honest results & explained my symptoms & results. Many doctors continue to deny my evaluation, MRI Results, and Diagnosis and Deny Positive Test Results or Symptoms. Dr. Dash has much experience & is one of the only 1/3 doctors that are honest today. Misdiagnosis & Medical errors are the 3rd leading cause of death in America! I am proud that Dr. Dash refuses to dishonest!

After years misdiagnoses I was directed to DR. Dash for a second opinion. After thoroughly listening to my medical history going back years, Dr. Dash’s diagnosis was far from anything expected. At times I have even been an unwilling patient but the Dr. has always taken it in stride with humor and thru his years of experience and knowledge I have benefited greatly. I don’t know if I have ever met a better doctor or one that has helped me more.

Did not read paperwork that was mailed to us and instructed to complete prior to appointment. Claimed that our doctor did not send my daughters chart, when I know that they did. Daughter was referred for memory loss. Dr Dash did not order any tests and asked her if she felt depressed. Based on his vague one sentence question, he recommended that she see a psychiatrist and he could not help. Our insurance was billed for this visit... Maybe he should be checked for insurance fraud as the visit was useless.

He could not have viewed my records prior to my arrival because he had to send his intern to find them. He did not listen to anything I said. He basically told me "Welcome to middle age womanhood and your symptoms aren't interesting enough to pursue further." I'm sorry, but occasional partial face paralysis, occasional incontinence, dizziness and swollen extremities are a part of middle age womanhood?!? I have been to many specialists over the years with no answers. I was finally referred to John Hopkins and was excited, considering their reputation....apparently I can't be helped there either.
