Dr. Paul James Drouillard, DO

If you are being sent to him by your employer or insurance company, you’re screwed. I suffered from back and knee pain as a result of an accident, was told by several surgeons I’m not a surgical candidate and need to rely on pain management. This doctor spent a few minutes checking my reflexes and asking a few questions, deemed me ok to return to work immediately. I won a favorable decision for SSDI shortly thereafter. He’s rude and nasty

I made the mistake of ageeing with AAA to be seen by paul & the result was a denial of my claim by AAA ignoring all previous other information relating to my injury.

I was recently sent to this sorry excuse of a doctor by the department of labors office of workers comp for an independent medical exam. After a little research it appears that he is one of their favorite doctors to use as his reports are always in the insurance companies favor. Seeing the reviews left by actual patients of his I am not at all surprised, he obviously cant hack it as a REAL doctor and has to make money somehow, therefor he became a liar and specializes in destroying the lives of and kicking those who are already down.

I was sent to him by the workers Comp also. The only difference is that he disagreed with another independent Doctor for the insurance company who said I had a herniated disc. That made for my Neurosurgeon, a Neurologist and my Orthopedic doctor agreeing with one another and the MRI saying that I have a herniated disc. Dr Drouillard barely touched me, made some disparaging comments about my Neurosurgeon then asked a few questions and dismissed me. He then said nothing was wrong with me. Now I don’t know about his credentials but I do know about his integrity, he has none. Anytime you have objective imaging and another Independent Orthopedic Surgeon saying I have a herniated disc, plus my Neurosurgeon, and you say nothing is wrong with me. You are a liar and a cheat. The bad thing is all that I want is surgery to repair he damage and rehab to return to work whole and he lied to prevent me from getting the help I need. I’m too young to retire and I have a family to care for and this… man has really complicated my life for a pay day. He is truly a discredit to his profession, a prostitute for the insurance company, a Judas Iscariot. I gave him a one star because that’s the lowest grade I could give him. His actions are criminal I’m sure. As I read the other comments there is no way so many can write the same thing or have the same experience, when we don’t know one another. The thread rings to be true for this Criminal. If he could be tried for deliberately lying. I wonder how his decisions would be affected?

I have been off work for 6 months am getting worse and now my claim is denied. I am being told I can go back to work with restrictions and my claim is denied what a joke. This Dr didn't even touch me or read the reports I brought from the other Drs. this doctor is a big lair.

Do not believe him when he says he work for himself he is indeed hired by the insurance company

How do you thank a person that has given you back your life. Because that's what happened after my surgery. I could hardly walk, I did so in pain. I lost my love of life, the joy, the simple act of smiling, the pain was so bad. I let it get very bad, before I had the nerve to see Dr. Drouillard. What a caring special person he is. Gentle and kind. My surgery went very well, I was back on track after just 15 days, continuing exercising, walking. My family is amazed, and I'm so thankful. I don't know where I'd be without Dr. Drouillard. And did I mention, he sends flowers. Sometimes angels are disguised as doctors. Thank you...Katherine Ferrini.
