Dr. Paul Robert Ehrmann, DO

Dr. Ehrmann has been my family physician ever since he first came to his practice in Royal Oak, MI before moving to Troy. That spans a time period of nearly 40 years. He is the most concerned, compassionate, person in the medical field I have ever encountered. He has seen my family, and myself through thick and thin all of these years. An ace diagnostician, having diagnosed disorders that even sophisticated medical tests didn't reveal. His office staff is the best, friendly and co-operative. I would, and have, trusted Dr. Ehrmann with the lives of myself and my family, and would recommend him to anyone who needs a Primary Care Doctor.

Doc Paul has been THE best primary care doctor I have ever had. He listens, he is never in a hurry and he is continually up on the latest medical information. I am especially impressed that he balances the need for long term, healthy approaches versus quick fix prescriptions for symptoms only. I also respect the fact that he works with you as an individual and you are not just another appointment. I highly recommend Doc Paul for anyone who genuinely cares about their health in the long term, as opposed to simply looking for a prescription writer. The new office is beautiful and high tech and his staff is fantastic. Can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Long time on hold when calling - long wait for results of any tests - only 1 test in 3 weeks, although I told him I was in pain - very poor service - finally went to another doctor who ordered 2 tests same day, and made appointment for another one. Called me same that tests were done, with results, and sent letter confirming, and copies of tests. Called in prescription same day as diagnosis, and pain is gone and I am well.

When I lived in Royal Oak he was my Family Dr for nearly 20 years! I moved to SCShores, found another Dr. ... didn’t care for them. Was glad to make the 20 min drive back to RO for great personal care by Dr Paul and his staff.

Dr. Paul is one of the most caring doctors I have ever visited. There is never any waiting (disregard anyone who says different). I am usually called within 5 minutes and Dr. Paul takes as much time as you need. In fact he takes more time, listen more carefully, than any other doctor I visit (I currently have at least 6 for various ailments) and he even takes time to call and discuss my physical problems on the phone. Forget any negative comments....maybe they have never visited an office where you sit and wait for 2 to 3 hours which has happened to me. I am proud to have Dr. Paul as my caring physician. WONDERFUL doctor. Personal, knowledgeable, caring.

Always a long wait. Spends minimal time with me. I always feel like he is in a rush to move to the next patient. Try's to act personable but doesn't really actually listen to your answer. He even cuts me off. I've been seeing this doctor for 15 years and always have the same experience. He never looks very far into my concerns. I was recently written a prescription and when I called two weeks later asking for a refill he made me come back in and pay another copay which is not cheap.
