So nice. got me on the right meds

Tells me about the risks and benefits of all my meds. Writes things down for me and always asks if I have questions or if there is anything else he can do for me. One of my meds requires a urine drug screen, and he definitely has his nurse do them a few times a year on me and had me sign an agreement about controlled meds before he would prescribe anything. I get it though and respect him and his focus on safety. My workplace does the same thing.

The best psych you can get. Spends time to get to know who I am and what my goals are in life. Actually listens and remembers me. Buttt he won’t prescribe a benzoor anything like that. Explained that it’s like a band aid and won’t fix things long term and can cause dementia and I did my own research and he was right, you can tell he cares about my long term health not just get me in and out the office. I feel better after going to him for 6 months and finding the right meds.

I actually look forward to going to see him! He listens to me and you can tell he is engaged on what I’m telling him and gives good insight and really good at teaching about my meds.

He’s always on time! Never have to wait for my appointment. My appointment is at 2, and he always sees me on time right at 2. So nice to have a person that is respectful of my time. Plus he’s super nice.

I love the vibes he gives off…. Talks so nice ajd smiles and happy Such a sweet soul. He’s kind, listens and actually explains what meds I’m putting in my body. Gives me options. Also helped me get a therapist at UnityPoint, he prescribes my meds.

He is a very good nurse practitioner who truly cares about me He listens carefully, explains everything in an and just is super chill, and takes his time to listen to me. So stoked I found him. He goes above and beyond just psychiatric care by ordering labs, reviewing them with me, and even reaching out to my primary care doctor with concerns about my liver. He is kind, professional, and genuinely invested in my overall health.

Paul is a fantastic psych NP. He has a way of making me feel listened to right away and actually listens to what’s going on in your life. Asks not only about me, but my family and how we are all doing. He explains things in a way that makes sense with my meds and is super supportive. It’s clear he really cares, and I always leave feeling understood and encouraged. Highly recommend him!

I do telehealth with him. Super nice guy. Easy to talk to and more of a conversation feel like you would with a friend, not a doctors appointment feel. I look forward to the visits. Explains meds to me which is rare from past experiences from other psych places. Tells me about risks and benefits and ordered labs on me too for my meds. He’s fast at refilling my meds.
