Dr. Paul Theodore Gavaris, MD

I went to Dr. Guevara's twice, 10 years apart for to remove a bulge on the lower eye lid . He did a good job the fist time but botched the second. He got angry when I pointed out that I was did not liker the outcome. I am sorry i went to him the second time and would never recommend him to anybody at present.

I was referred by a plastic surgeon who had surgery on my eye 3 times and didn't succeed, so he referred me to Dr Paul Gavaris, he hasn't correct the problem ,but he give me indication that he knows where the problem is, and I am praying to this great god that I am going to get my problem solve.

Dr. Gavaris operated on my eyes twice for ptosis repair, but I still ended up with obviously asymmetric eyes and extensive scar tissue. It took another local oculoplastic surgeon at a teaching hospital to correct the problem Dr. Gavaris couldn't fix. One eye is now very dry thanks to 3 surgeries. Moreover, Dr. Gavaris became angry when I pointed out after 1st surgery that my eyes were not even. It didn't stop his office from billing my insurance a second time though.

One of the most professional, talented, caring men I have ever met. He did a beautiful job on eyelid reduction and eyebrow lift for me a few years ago. I don't think there is anyone more skilled and he is extremely nice as well!

Dr Gavaris repaired a difficult problem claimed to be unfixable by other eye doctors. The difficult diagnosis was exactly correct and the repair perfect. Technically he is a wizard and personally he is wonderful. I am beyond grateful to have found myself in his hands after so many other failed procedures.

Dr. Gavaris is THE best eye doctor in the DC area..of course his daughter has big shoes to fill!
