While the doctors are ok, the front office staff are dreadful. The hours that they will answer the phone are already limited, but even if you can during their stated hours they don’t answer. They won’t call in medication refills in time. And they are always rude and unpleasant to deal with.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gross since 1996 If he wasn’t great I certainly wouldn’t be seeing him again 24 years later I don’t understand why he has such a low rating

Extremely rude staff that do not care about your well-being or mental health. I wasn’t even able to see the doctor after a month of sending over various medical records due to the obstruction of the front office staff. This place should honestly be shut down.

Do not go to this place. They are not welcoming, want to take you off of meds that you have been on for half your life and then talk bad about other doctors. Very unprofessional. This place should be shut down. I never knew how depressed and upset I could feel until I spoke to this woman who thought she was God’s gift and knew all the behind the scenes stuff that goes on with the psychiatrist. Oh she also knew everything about medication. Hahaha what a joke. I refuse to go to this psychiatrist due to the fact that the front staff is horrible. Hey dr gross get a new front end. Invest some of your money in your own people. Don’t ever go here I don’t care how good the doctor is. Wait until he replaces those miserable beings in the front office. They need to be outsourced....better yet amazon should replace them with robots. At least they would kindly tell you to go away because your so messed up and we don’t want you as a patient. I’m so sick of all of you doctor with a terrible front… staff. You need to invest in your people. You are absolutely unbelievable and I am ashamed of the Lehigh valley for its lack of psychiatrists and mistreatment for patients that they simply do not even treat. Not smart the Lehigh valley is going to get a bad name for all of the psychiatrists out there. Seems like the valley shouldn’t have a state hospital or psychiatrists. It seems like the valley wants walking zombies. Well good luck I can’t wait to leave this area of malpractice and mistreatment. Realize you are all at fault for every person you do not treat properly just because you cannot understand how someone else feels or react to drugs. Nope just keep pushing your crap that you believe works and keep thinking that’s all that works because 9 time out of 10 the patient who is actually taking the medication is the one that knows what works and what doesn’t based on the simple fact that psychiatrist forget.....the person that is taking the drugs feels the side effects not anyone else. So don’t let your doctors front end or your doctor tell you how you feel fight back and let them know they are wrong. You are right stand up for yourself. You only get one life and believe me it’s better to live a much better quality of life than take crappy meds and live a crappy life. Good luck may God be with you all.

Dr. Gross oversaw my care for approximately 6 months. To say he (and his PA) are "pill pushers" is a gross understatement--pun intended. Every time I started a new medication and had horrible side effects, the response was, "let's just put you on a different medication" without having a discussion with me about whether this was/wasn't a good next step. The general rule they follow: put the patient on every known medication and hope that something works. Needless to say, I got worse, not better. I did not feel like I was listened to even when I exclaimed, "I would like to be placed on a lower dose." DO NOT GO HERE! Although the number of psychiatrists in the Lehigh Valley is low, I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Get away from this QUACK as soon as possible, if not sooner. This guy stole my mother's engagement ring. "He was keeping it for safe keeping." His wife made me sign a paper saying my mother gave it to him freely. Them she literally pushed me to grab the paper away from me. I had to give him a star, but this jerk should have his license revoke immediately. Just read all of the negative comments.

I have been going for several years to this quack. For the past several months every time my prescription runs out I have to call the office for a refill. Now their office has a woman who loves to hang up on patient who is trying to get a refill of a needed medicine. Her line was ( you are talking mean to me,. She starts a argument and then rudely HANGS UP. What kind of place are you running doc??? Your patients come first , NOT YOUR WANNA BE SECRETARY FEELING. DO YOU EVEN CARE ABOUT US????

Office staff neglected to tell me at each if my appointments that I had a balance on file. I called to have my prescriptions filled the recommended 48 hours before I was out, and was told they wouldn't be filled because of my balance. I argued with the staff about being forced to go "cold turkey" on my meds because of my balance, to which they replied that they didn't care. My husband had to call and argue with them to straighten everything out. What a nightmare to be denied your medication and forced to endure the effects of stopping a medication cold turkey. For office staff to make that kind of judgement call without Dr. Gross' approval is just disgusting and down right dangerous. This isn't the first time the staff has been abusive in how they've treated me. Dr. Gross is going to end up being sued for malpractice if his staff continues to treat sick patients this way. Shame on them!

Horrible man. Never responded or contacted me upon request. Met this man first time for a family meeting to discuss transferring my father to assisted living because they bilked insurance for all they could and wanted him out of Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown. they also filed for Guardianship, refused to release him to my care though I had Durable POA. Do NOT let your loved one enter the "care" of this man! Years ago, my aunt dealt with this same man with similar situation with my grandmother. She had to schedule an appointment and PAY to get his time and have her questions answered. Staff was not friendly. When I went in to find my father so over medicated his body was convulsing I video-taped, asked what he was on and why and ended up being restricted from him for 5 days!!!! Hopefully you read this before your loved one enters the "care" of this man! If was like something from a horror movie....(Would not even give one start but had to click on rating to submit)
