PLEASE Do your research before choosing this provider. Post-surgical complications were not taken seriously when we contacted the office, leading to a severe infection. This resulted in a second surgery and weeks in the hospital on IV antibiotics—something that could have been avoided with proper care and follow-up. A very difficult and preventable experience. I strongly recommend finding another doctor!

Appt was surgical consult. Dr. Hartzfeld was strongly recommended and did not disappoint. He was prepared with info available and info provided upon arrival. Two daughters accompanied me. He included all in discussion and made sure all options, questions and concerns were answered. If I opt for this or any spinal surgery it will be with Dr. Hartzfeld.

Dr. Hartzfeld spent time explaining my Issues and what treatment would be best. He also answered all the questions I had.

Dr. Hartzfeld has twice performed surgery on my spine. once a lumbar laminectomy, and again on my cervical vertebrae. Both times he did a great job, no complications. Both results left my pain free. He was personable, took his time in answering questions. His staff was great as well. I would recommend him.
