New appt turned into no appt. Scheduled MRI for July 14th. Got there and was told that due to my mechanical aortic valve that their machines wouldn't work for me. Left for vacation and while out of town rescheduled for 8/17 to have a myleogram of cervical spine. Got to the app 15 minutes early. Waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes and when I asked what the problem was, the answer was they had a nurse shortage. A bunch had called in sick that morning. My apt was at 11 am and they hadn't figured out they were behind by 11. Also, went back in my files and found I had an MRI there a year ago. So I guess they downgraded their MRI from last year because that's the only thing that could have changed as I had my valve changed in 2010.

If I could give any negative stars for this useless hospital I would. The staff is unfriendly and uncaring. My husband had extensive shoulder surgery and sent home the same day. By the next morning it was swollen and he was in so much pain he was crying and pacing the floor. He was hurting so bad he was throwing up and felt like passing out. Finally got ahold of the doctor and he said to go to the emergency room immediately that he could have a blood clot or compartment swelling. The nurses in the ER have no compassion. We finally got ahold of the operating doctor and he admitted him to the hospital for further care. The actual Doctor And his staff I give a 5 star across the board. But if it wasn’t for him he probably would have died in the emergency room!

First off the maternity ward is amazing and everyone that works there is great. The E.R. not so much. I had a miscarriage with complications. I was left alone bleeding profusely with no extra pads. They didnt give me a call button so I had to go to the wall anytime I needed help. When I would call for help it would take a good 20-30 minutes. Once I even used my phone and called the hospital to try and get help. Then they would take forever to get a new pad for me. As if it was ok for me to sit in a pool of blood and chunks. They never gave me a blanket. I only had the one the ambulance gave me. There was no pillow. I was in sevier pain screaming and crying and wasnt even offered pain medicine for hours after arriving. I was dehydrated when I got here and I'm leaving dehydrated. When they said I was ready to be discharged I called my husband to bring me clothes, shoes, and wipes to clean the blood off of me. He hadn't showed up before they finished the paperwork but they kicked me out.… Half naked still slightly bleeding they said I had to go wait in the lobby. They gave me socks because I pushed that I didn't want to go out barefoot. I'm sitting here cold, dizzy, covered in miscarriage blood with a blanket from the ambulance sitting on a pad I found and took without asking. A miscarriage is traumatic enough the way they handled it was even worse. I've had some bad experiences here before but this was by far the worst.

The doctor was the worse I have ever had! She did nothing. Said I need to go see my regular doctor. For my cold . Well I had bronchitis !! BAD!! Don’t know how she got a job? But I will Never go there again! They just changed my insurance for nothing done.

How can you walk into a hospital with a possible broken arm and leave with no brakes everything is fine then look online at medical records and find out you have heart problems nobody informed me of anything except no brakes and no labs are done and nobody asks about about an itchy skin condition called eczema but instead writes on my medical records that I have tracks marks and label me a drug addic I see an APN for 2 minutes as soon as I get there from that and my appearance alone they can make such a call to go into my medicsl records and I receive state assistance so my medical records are pulled all the time for review and now this is gonna cause me a huge problem so thanks for nothing all they did was cost me what I depend on

I found this hospital to be good. Service, & staff were attentive & carring. It was clean. So over all I'd have to give it a 5 star rate.

Terrible hospital. ER is not knowledgeable. Daughter sicker now and high fever. Did not touch her. Just gave her eye ointment. Go to another hospital.

I was brought by ambulance to E.R. because of complications relating to my COPD.I had just moved to Texas from another state and i had not had time to line up a primary doctor.ER dr sd they were going to admit me but they were waiting on a room.I was kept in ER for 24 hours before i got a room.I found ER staff to be rude .When i was finally brought to my room things drastically changed for the better.I had a great Dr.and the nursing staff was wonderful.My advice....try to avoid the emergency room if possible !!!Try to get a direct admit
