Dr. Paul Jo

Dr. Jo may be a good doctor but some of his staff needs a lot of help. Staff was very rude and in some ways really incompetent. Staff failed to fax over bloodwork request. So when I showed up at 6:00 A.M this morning they couldn't do the bloodwork without the paperwork. Now I'm upset,so when I called this morning and finally talked to Betty Jo after letting her know what had happened she finally faxed over the bloodwork request. She let me know that if I was unhappy with Dr. Jo that I could always find someone else. I JUST MAY!

I have been going to Dr Jo for at least 20 yrs…as well as my other family members! Treated respectfully & professionally & helped with my health issues! I’m also thankful for his new…surgery center on his Ocala premises! Works with difficult health issues in a kind respectful way! I’ve recommended him to other family friends & those who are searching for a good doctor…ask me! KDenmark

Waited for two hours for a hasty 5 minute appointment which was my first time with him. Feel like a herd of cattle and like a number, not a person. He took me off my meds that I e been on for ten years and said my only option was a brand new pill that no insurance covers. Scam? Staff is terribly rude and hasty and so unprofessional. Do not do not do not go here

Dr. Jo truly cares about his patients. I am thankful our paths crossed.

I am always at least fifteen minuets early for the appointment and still have to wait for one half hour minimum after the appointed time to be seen. He barely acknowledges your presence and rushes through his procedures and walks out. He doesn't remember from time to time what he has said previously. The office staff is condescending and often rude. Some of the nurses are too rough. The staff always seems to be new each time I have an appointment. I have been going to him for over six years and now looking for someone else.

He has a God complex.

I tried to postpone a procedure due to needing a ride home, as I was not supposed to drive. Dr Jo instead decided to discharge me as a patient without negotiating a different date to do the procedure. I simply needed more time to arrange a ride... and a taxi was NOT acceptable as I had to have a person watching me at home for 24 hrs. Go figure! He's a nice person, but lacking professional courtesies since he has a glut of elderly people needing urological care. Find another doctor!

One doctor approximately a hundred patients a day you do the math

Way overbooked. Wait hours for a five minute rush Dr. Visit. Doctor doesn’t know why you’re there on a followup visit. Can’t find records for medications he has prescribed for you so you can’t renew prescriptions without a major pushup. Office staff is condescending,

10 yrs ago this year Dr Jo removed my Kidney. He was so compassionate and caring. No one could ask for more. He explained things,every step of the way. Including keeping in touch with my family that didnt live near me. Had the surgery on Fri andwas home walking around on Sun. This year I reached 82 thanks to Dr Jo. Hes still my afopted son in my heart. Love you Dr Jo. L
