Dr. Paul Jeffrey King, MD

My wife just had total knee replacement surgery. This has been a battle for 6 years with many denials from my insurance Co. We had been to several other specialists in the DC Metropolitian area and as far as i am concerned they saved the BEST FOR LAST ! Dr. King and his entire staff deserve top honors for their Professionalism, Knowledge and Care that they give to their clients. I called and spoke to the receptionist, wow she was so negative. I was highly referred to Dr. Paul King, I was excited to be a patient there because I had a total knee replacement in 2011 and the knee is still bothering me. I was hopeful that he could steer me in the right direction. The receptionist said she didn't think he would be able to speak to me concerning my knee. She said he doesn't work with patients that are under Workmans Comp. Thats interesting, because the patient that recommended him was under Workmans Compensation.

I had a total hip replacement of my right hip at 45. I was extremely nervous about the process, and had heard such great feedback about Dr.King that I knew that he was the only one I would trust with this procedure. I had a wonderful experience with the entire process. The office was very compassionate, helpful, and truly was looking out for me as a patient. The surgery went well, my recovery was as smooth as expected, and the follow up was fantastic. My Mom had her right hip done two years later, and she was equally as pleased with the entire experience. I highly recommend Dr.King.

He has done both of my knees. Awesome results. Driving in three weeks.

I had my knee replaced by Dr. King. An excellent careful thorough surgeon. I'd recommend him to anybody. He's the best in Annapolis.

Ignored radiologist's suggestion of possible fracture and infection in hip and recommendation for further testing, delaying surgery for months which resulted in severe bone loss and deformity.

Great surgeon! My mom had two hip replacements with very minimal pain and a very quick recovery. His approach to hip replacement is clearly superior in terms of recovery and return to normal activity. One day out her hip was much better than walking into surgery. We had a very positive experience.

I love Dr. King. He is knowledgable and kind. He will not do anything that you do not really need. I came to him at age 42/43 and he said he would do knee replacements on me but then said but I will take a look at you knee and tell you what I will do. He sent me for x rays and came back in and said Ms. Foggie you neeeeeed knee replacements. He couldnt believe the condition my knees were in. I just said "I told you" and we laughed. I am now 48 and my knees are fine. Noone can tell I have had that done if they dont see my scares.

He is a wonderful doctor, but his office staff are the worst people I have ever dealt with. The office administrator has got to the be the worst person I have ever met in my life. She was rude, arrogant and totally condescending. She definitely had a "I am greater than thou" attitude. I really do not know if it is worth going back to that.

Dr. King, perform my dad's knee replacement surgery. I appreciated the care as well as time Dr. King spent with my dad. As a result, he healed with ease and my dad is doing well today.
