Dr. Paul A Kostamo, MD

Excellent office . I have treated with many, many doctors over the past 65 years and I definitely know good from bad. Dr. Kostamo is at the top of the good list. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and methodical. He takes his time and actually listens to the problems and provides down to earth answers to my questions. His advise and treatment has always been helpful. His staff is also extremely professional, helpful and pleasant. I have never felt rushed or uncomfortable while visiting his office. Plus, I have never had to wait long to either schedule a visit or to wait once there.

For many years I suffered and could no longer teach. After years of seeing doctors without any results, I thought this was just the way it would be. Dr. Kostomo was the only doctor who asked enough questions to analyze that my lack of deep sleep was the culprit. Depression and inability to schedule activities was taking its toll especially with a new granddaughter. I was prescribed a medication and within a week I was beyond feeling well! My entire life transformed and I now sleep well without pain and depression. Dr. Kostomo changed my life so I can now take care of my granddaughter, walk and travel! I thank him from the bottom of my heart!

I've been seeing Dr. Kostamo for years now and am consistently impressed by the level of care provided. He is genuinely interested in what ails me and takes his time going over solutions. He has an excellent bedside manner and doesn't pull punches when going over issues and treatment. The office staff is easy to work with as well and make sure that information is disseminated quickly and to the right people.

Dr Kostamo and his office staff have always been polite and helpful .Dr Kostamo shows a real interest in patient problems and follows through with diagnosis and treatment .I highly recommend him as a primary care physician ,

Office Staff and Nurse very unfriendly unfortunetly. Act like they don't want to be there, short with clients and sometimes rude.

Doctor Kostamo will spend as much time with you as you need and never seems rushed. He has a tremendous knowledge of medicine, and every one of his diagnoses over about seven years has proven correct, even one given to my wife based on my verbal description of her condition. I have been to many doctors during my life and recommend this one very highly.

Been a patient of Dr. K 20 yrs. Most of that time, no problems. However, 5 yrs ago, he almost cost me my life. Had a bad fall onto my tailbone, he did nothing but prescribe pain meds for 9 months. Turned out I had cancer, which he completely missed - I had to ASK for an MRI after being in so much pain for so long I couldn't even sleep at night. People at my work sent me in an ambulance to the hospital, where I lay screaming on the floor b/c I couldn't get comfortable in bed. Dr. K finally sent me for biopsy after that episode. Now I've had a bad cough for 3 months and all he's done is prescribe... cough medicine. I think he's slipping. Badly.
