Great experience.

I met Dr Kovack in Greenville when I took my sister to see him after she had been hospitalized for congestive heart failure at another hospital. He came into the room to see my sister and never said hello -how are you or what’s going on I can help you with - he rarely made eye contact He listened to her heart and lungs - made some med changes then said he wanted labs in two weeks and return appt one month. Never said good bye, thank you for coming to see me or anything. My sister had lab tests done in two weeks and it was not until 10 days later that his office called with results. It was the exact same way at the second appt. he again had absolutely no bedside manner and was not very nice or welcoming. He acted like he had a job to do and it was not to be nice. I would never ever recommend him to anyone.

Staff gave me appointment date/time. Then changed it without my knowledge. 80 mile round trip of time and money wasted. I expressed dissatisfaction with situation and waste of my time and money when I'm not working and don't have money to waste. Now banned from practice because I don't respect them. What about respect for the patient's time and money?

He help me alot and he explain to me about my heart and stressful . I understand clear what they saying.

This Doc is direct, caring and right on the money. At first I was not sure, after meeting with him and under his care, I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. He takes care of ME, takes the time and is very caring. He found and took care of me, before I had a stroke, or anything, NOT after. I figure he is a life saver in my book.
