Dr. Paul Denis Kuehner, DO

Dr. Kuehner takes the time to sit and listen to you. Very professional. He is admired by many of the Sanibel locals, and is truly a great physician.

My whole family has went to Dr Kuehnet. We like that he is straight forward and compassionate. I had a very severe reaction with Mango sap. Was treated with steroids and cream. It healed in about week. My husband went to him for gout on a seperate occasion. After treatment he felt 60 percent better. In a few days all systems were gone. Gout flair up happen again but we were not in Flordia and went to doctor in Georgia. The doctor there was terrible and didn't give the same meds that cleared it up before. We has to call San cap and get name of meds to give to other Doctor. Dr Kuehnet although a small practice seams to know more than other doctors in bigger practices. We really like using him.

I could only walk a few steps before stopping. I had a problem in my glutomous maximous about 4 inches above the sciatica area. This went on for 8 days before I saw him. He adjusted my hip area and gave me electrotherapy and Somas, Tramadal, and prednisone for 6 days. After 24 hours I was about 60%, after another treatment I was about 80%. The day after my mental attitude went up to 100%. Problem solved!!!!

Dr. Kuehner went above and beyond the call of duty when I presented with abdominal pain. He promptly scheduled testing and referrals. He even personally called me at home to discuss the progress of the testing. Overall it only took days, not weeks, to accurately diagnose and treat my ulcers. Wonderful doctor!

Dr.Kuehner gave my husband cortisone shots which became infected ... As revealed on an MRI scan .. A week later he was in the hospital for a staph infection that was in the shoulder .. Now 6 operations and eight months later we are still dealing with this assault on his body ...

While vacationing in Sanibel Island, all 3 of my kids got sick. They all had ear aches, fevers and a cough. Thank God for Dr. Kuehner and his amazing staff. We walked in, filled out paperwork and were seen within 10 minutes of completing the paperwork. The nurse took her time with each of my kids and when the doctor came in he read their chart and knew everything that was going on. To make things even better, when we went to pay, it was not expensive and the ear drops, liquid antibiotic and a decongestant were given to us by the pharmacy on site. One hour out of our vacation and everyone was feeling better and I wet from being stressed to relaxed again. Absolutely wonderful experience.

This clinic took me the second I walked in. The front desk staff was cheerful and it only got better from there. My experience was good even though it was my own fault I was there in the first place. The doctor explained to me my problem and the treatment solved it within hours. I'm still amazed with how easy it was to get in, get out and go back to my vacation.Oh, and they have Saturday hours so following up right before I went home was super easy.

It's very scary when you have a baby that is sick. It is even scarier when you are in a strange place where you know no one. I asked around if anyone knew a good place to go. Everyone seemed to point me into the direction of San-Cap Medical Center. My baby is 8 months old and she was miserable. Visit was thorough, staff was amazing, care was very professional and the doctor was very friendly. Dr. Kuehner made the rest of our vacation wonderful!!!

What a wonderful experience I had as a patient. I was absolutely blown away at the professionalism and comfort I felt with this office. The doctor is very down to earth! One of the few left. He made me feel completely better. The nurse was so smart and she was very thorough. Her name is Jamie and she is amazing. Monica at the front desk was a pleasure to see on my way in and out. A smile goes a long way an these girls work very well with the doctor. I would recommend Sanibel Captiva Medical Center to anyone for any problem. Thank you guys so much for making the rest I my vacation amazing.
