Dr. Paul J. Lapoint, DO

Now my left leg is lame. Dr. Lapoint did a Total Knee Replacement on me about 2 years ago. I am in constant bad pain since the surgery. He says that he doesn't know why. A another orthopaedic doctor said that the implant is loose and probably rubbing on nerves to have this high level of pain. Beware.

Dr. LaPoint is really a great person and doctor. We consider ourselves blessed to be patients of his. I’ve had one knee replaced and awaiting the other in late spring. Dori had both hips replaced. Couldn’t be more pleased with the outcomes.

Dr. Lapoint replaced my right hip in Feb of 2018. I was 43. I was home the next day and recovered well. I was back to work at a 100% labor job in a few months and a year later I am able to manage my 1 acre farm, bees, and home on a hill again with ease. I could not walk without excruciating pain when I met him. My hip was collapsing. This man gave me my entire life back and I am thankful.

Hands down Dr Paul is the best in orthopedics. He's got a great bedside manner and is so caring. Dr Paul did my first hip replacement when I was in my early 30's when nobody would touch me. I had my 2 nd replacement 2007. He took YEARS of pain (all my life) away. Not to mention he did 2 shoulder surgeries on the hubby. So that's 4 thumbs up for us. Go see him, you won't regret it.

Anterior approach hip replacement was flawless! Wonderful, caring doctor, terrific staff at Buffalo Orthopaedic Group.

Staff was able to fit me in on short notice for a shot in the hip to alleviate pain. This made my vacation possible. After consultation, I'm considering hip replacement.

I have had 5 surgeries with Dr Lapointe. His concern , explanation and bedside manor can't be beat and that inculdes his office and surgical staff A++++

I've gone to a few orthopedists in WNY, and Dr. Lapoint is hands down the best I've ever met. He was professional and knowledgeable. When I first looked for an orthopedist the one my GP recommended accidentally tore my rotator cuff during the exam (ouch!), and the second orthopedist from UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports didn't know the different between left & right (yikes!). Thankfully, the third time was a charm, and Dr. Lapoint not only helped me recover from my initial shoulder injury, but the newly torn rotator cuff as well. A year later and I'm back to lifting weights. I recommend him to all of my family.

Extremely happy with Dr. Lapoint and with his staff. They answered all my questions, addressed my concerns and their "bedside manner" is greatly appreciated.
