Dr. Paul Victor Loar, MD

I have been diagnosed now with a 3 and 1/2 cm mass in my fallopian tube and I have called numerous times, faxed my records twice. Sent in ROI's twice and left messages and it can't get anyone in the office to return my call. I had really wanted him to do my surgery but it is going over 2 weeks now and I'm starting to hurt so I probably have to find another doctor.

Dr.Loar Was the greatest Dr. always was there when I needed him thru my difficult journey. And mine was very difficult he did everything to get me to the end of my journey . Will stay with him till the end of all my treatments.

Dr Loar came across as extremely caring, respectful, humane, and patient. I never felt rushed. I could have gone on to ask any number of questions about my condition it seemed. He seems very efficient, and I have not had surgery yet but one visit itself was enough to make me feel comfortable.

Great doctor. He takes his time asking questions, listening, and answering. Straightforward but respectful of patient's choices. I've never left his office at unease. He did surgery on my and was and still is my oncologist.

I was his patient when he was with UF/Shands Jacksonville. He has excellent bedside manner and was calm and collected during delivery complications which naturally is what made my emergency section less stressful for my can husband and myself. I am a nurse that worked in the same hospital so I know how fantastic a doctor he is. Too bad he moved away!!!

From the first time I met Dr. Loar I liked him a lot. He was so encouraging and optimistic when I was diagnosed having an ovarian tumor. I was first diagnosed as having PID and then tubular abscess which after they went in to drain the abscess they found out it was an ovarian tumor instead. That is when the OBGYN doctor referred me to Dr. Loar for second surgery to remove tumor. He is amazing and I would highly recommend him to any one needing a compassionate caring doctor. He is extremely personable and experienced.

Dr. Loar was very kind, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all my questions in regards to a hysterectomy he performed yesterday. I was referred to him by my OB, after she received pathology reports following a surgery where she found cancerous cells. I am already home from the hospital, and am grateful and hopeful that he removed all the cancer .

Dr Loar is an excellent oncologist doctor who I highly recommend. He is very patient and caring. Takes the time to explain your diagnosis and listen to your concerns and questions. He has performed da Vinci robotic surgery on me and treated my cancer with successful results. I am thankful to have been in such great care with him and his staff at Texas Oncology.
