I would not recommend this doctor due to his staff.I had problems with the insurance and the short term disability forms not being filled out in time. They were faxed twice and they claim they did not received them. I had proof they were sent.I finally decided to take them in person.In between all this, I called numerous times but you always get answering machine and they say they will get back to you within 24 hours.Well they do not. I got tired of waiting for days in between calls so I decided to cancelled my surgery and they called my right away and they said they would send it same day. I told the lady if they could let me know when it was sent.She called next day and I was notified all the paperwork was sent. I said thanks.I asked for copies and she claims they were shredded already.She asked me if I was going to still get surgery with them. I told her I was at work and before I commit I would find out if the forms were received. She immediately said I need to know now, I said I… could let her know today before 4 pm.She got really upset and said the doctor lomeo needed to know. She claims Dr lomeo had told her if I was not happy there to cancel the surgery, so I did.I would not recommend Dr lomeo due to his rude staff long waits not returning calls and not filling out forms needed on time. WAIT....WAIT....WAIT And the level of care you receive is certainly substandard. The staff are not nice or courteous. Matter a fact it seems most staff do act happy. Negative environment. I found someone else.

Of his detractors I see complaints of "God Complex" and "wait time", he is very confident for good reasons and If you don't have time to invest in your health care sit at home and watch TV. His results are undeniable. He is one of a few I trust fully.

Dr. Lomeo performed my sons surgery when he needed tubes in his ears. The surgery went fine but everytime we go to his office we have to wait over an hour and a half past our schedule appointment time to see the doctor. Then, when he comes in he is in the room for less than 5 mins. We always schedule appointments early in the morning thinking that he wont be behind schedule and hopefully not missing too much work/school. By the time we are done we've spent about 2 hours in his office. It's hard to keep a 5 year old entertained for that long. They are completely inconsiderate of other peoples time. Would not recommend.

I am very pleased with my care before after tongue surgery for Stage 1 cancer. He explains what to expect well and listens to the concerns of the patient. He is very professional is very caring. Yes, I recommend Dr. Lomeo and his staff highly.

Dr. Lomeo was wonderful!! He was extremely comprehensive and thorough during his evaluation of my condition. He listened to me and was spot on in his diagnoses! I would recommend him to anyone that needs to see an ear, nose, and throat specialist!!

I had mouth cancer. My family doctor sent me to Dr. Lomeo. The cancer was stage 4. He asked that family members be with me at my visits to him. A lot of doctors don't want relatives asking questions. He encouraged it. When I ask him if I would be here the next year, he told me yes. We will fight it!! My surgery involved an incision from one ear to the other on my neck. He was so caring while I was in the hospital and every time I went to see him. His staff has always been very friendly. Dr. Lomeo saved my life. My whole family would choose him to go to. He seen me in Meijers one day he got my attention and talked to me. I didn't even see him at first. How many doctors do that? I'm not young and attractive. Far from it. Love Dr. Lomeo!!!!
