Dr. Paul Mehan is a wonderful doctor and human being. He is thorough and doesn't rush through my appointments. I actually walk away feeling like I understand what is going on with my diagnosis and treatment. Cancer is scary,Dr. Mehan makes it a little less so.

The man should not be allowed to practice medicine. My Mother is gone as a result of his poor decisions.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Mehan for about a year and a half, following the removal of a cancerous right kidney. Dr. Mehan has carefully monitored all of his symptoms, and has now found a suspicious nodule on his left lung. He explains things so very thoroughly and plainly, laying out all of the options and possible treatments. He is a very caring doctor. We would recommend him highly to any patient seeking the best oncologist in the area.

Having traveled the East Coast for second opinions from the top docs at Penn and Memorial Sloane Kettering, I can say that Dr. Mehan is just simply outstanding, as good or better than the leaders in his field. He is thorough, brilliant, thoughtful, empathic with great bedside manner.
