Dr. Paul Andrew Midkiff, MD

My husband and I have been with Dr. Midkiff for 4 years. We have always been very satisfied with our care and attention we receive with him.

There is nothing wrong with Dr. Midkiff but his office staff in Asheville on Ashland Avenue is the pits. They do not answer the phone and when they do, they put you on hold and never return or they just hang up on you. Diana Fisher, the office manager, does not return your calls. Stacy, Bobbie, Linda and Teresa a worthless. What good is a good doctor when his staff totally sucks?

If you are really sick, see a real doctor. If it's a simple cold, he's great but if you've got anything outside of a common household illness, like an allergy, he's not worth the visit. His staff are just as bad as he is, if you want to see a real doctor, see someone else.

I started seeing Dr. Midkiff in 2008. My Diabeties was out of control. Dr. Midkiff cared enough that within 3 months time my h1c went from 14.7 to 8.2. I was amazed. My weight started coming down and I overall was feeling so wonderful. Dr. Midkiff took the time with me each time I saw him to actually care about me and my health. There was once I had a real bad sugar low, my husband called the office and let them know. They told him to bring me on in. Dr. Midkiff talked to me, gave me glucose tabs and within just a little bit, I was great. The next day, he personally called me at home to make sure that I was ok. To me, that meant everything. The Dr. is down to earth, caring, professional, sincere and an excellent Dr.

Dr. Midkiff, is young and new but he is a great doctor and very caring.
