Dr. Paul G. Orbon, DO

Dr. Orbon is a great Dr. He is very, very thorough, does not B.S you, he is up front and super knowledgeable and caring. Great manner and a caring way about him. Love this Dr.!!!

Dr. Orbon was the on call physician for my medical group, Cardiovascular Medical Associates, on an evening when I was in need of medication. The facility had called in a prescription that apparently is on back order everywhere. The pharmacy had called at 2:50 pm to see about substituting a similar med but had not received a call back, so now that it was after hours I needed to get the approval of the on call doctor, who was Dr. Orben. I called at 7:35 and the answering service sent Dr. Orben my number and the pharmacy's number. At 8:08, with neither I nor the pharmacy having heard from the doctor, I called again. They sent another message to him to call me or the pharmacy. I called again at 8:22 and then again at 8:36. He finally called the pharmacy at 8:45. During all of this time I was sitting at the pharmacy. My wife and daughter were sitting outside in the car. FOR OVER AN HOUR!!!! I suppose the doctor on call could have been tied up with an emergency - something more serious than… my medication issue. But if that were the case, then I would expect he would have called me or would have had the answering service call me to let me know that he would not be able to address my issue for some time (in which case I would have gone home and not sat in the pharmacy waiting). I consider the more than an hour delay in responding to be completely unprofessional. And I'm assuming the fact that he never called me directly is because he knows it and was too ashamed to speak to me directly. If you want a doctor who shows such little care about doing his job, then feel free. But i would suggest you look elsewhere.

Dr. Orbon is very thorough, precise and a very caring and accurate diagnostician.

Dr Orbon has excellent bedside manner. He is an excellent diagnostician and he carefully listens to what his patients tell him. His Medical Assistant is fantastic, however his secretary is a tougher person to deal with.

I only had one visit as a new patient with Dr. Orbon and I immediately switched to a different primary doctor. I went in for a wellness visit for which he suggested bloodwork. Not a problem there. However my initial visit he seemed very cavalier and detached and anytime I asked a question, it appeared as if it was too much trouble for him to have to answer. The icing on the cake came after my blood results came backm, i dicating a high levels on the thyroid. Dr. Orbon, never got on the phone to discuss anything. I had to call myself to get the blood results and was limited only to speaking with his secreatry whose final answer was to go on Synthroid medication. Three weeks later, I went to a a new doctor who was amazing, great bedisde manner, a gem. She did second bloodwork and my levels only three weeks later ame back normal on the thyroid. Dr. Orbon would have put in Synthroid a medication I obviously DID NOT NEED. All I can say is that Dr. Orbon did me a huge favor with his… attitude.

Good Diagnostician, caring and compassionate. Has good bedside manner and sense of humor

Dr. Orbon is by far one of the very best Doctors that I have ever seen. His is not only professional, but, has the kindest bedside manner. He is kind and compassionate, never leaving you waiting. All of his patients are quickly given appointments without being left waiting endlessly. When you go into to see him, he does not make you wait for him, and he then spends considerable time with you and you alone. He spends time to listen and to explain. I am grateful to him always.
